MSNBC's self-proclaimed non-partisan, Biden-supporting historian Jon Meacham reacted to the news that Biden has been declared president-elect by claiming that our long national nightmare is over and that the voters have kept the republic.

Appearing as a guest on Wednesday's Deadline: White House on MSNBC to react to President Donald Trump's strong showing in the election, contributor Jason Johnson declared he was "disturbed" by the number of Americans who voted for Trump, and urged Joe Biden, if he becomes President, to treat Republicans as "the enemies of democracy."

On Friday's MSNBC coverage of the 2020 presidential election, MSNBC contributor and disaffected ex-Republican Steve Schmidt fretted that almost half the country voted for President Donald Trump, declaring that they "voted for a statist authoritarian movement with fascistic markers hostile to American democracy."

President Trump’s Thursday night speech alleging voter fraud was the latest target of the left-wing networks’ self-righteous censorship. MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski, congratulating her colleagues in the partisan press, proclaimed on Friday’s Morning Joe: “All three major networks along with this network cut off the President mid-sentence to shut down his disinformation campaign.”

While nothing was official during the airing of Thursday's Andrea Mitchell Reports, the show's namesake host and Pennsylvania Sen. Bob Casey were confident that Joe Biden will eventually win the election. For Mitchell, that means that checks and balances are suddenly bad again.

Like millions of his fellow Americans, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough woke up Thursday morning to learn virtually nothing new about the ongoing election. Understandably frustrated on Morning Joe, he ranted his way into a pit of confusion as he tried in vain to understand both conservative Christians and his own friends and relatives who support President Trump.

Despairing over how tight the presidential race has been, MSNBC's Reid complained how “aggravating” the “red mirage” was and how “disappointed” she was that racist Trump voters didn’t get their comeuppance with a Biden blowout on election night.

Wednesday night on MSNBC, host Rachel Maddow and NBC correspondent Gadi Schwartz provided the latest depiction of how the liberal media viewing Trump supporters like crazed zoo animals. This time, they exhibited concern and trepidation of how a couple hundred of Trumpers had gathered outside the elections department in Maricopa County, Arizona.

On Monday afternoon, as MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell only had Democratic guests on her show to discuss the upcoming Election Day, she hyped concerns about "voter suppression" aimed at minorities and twice recalled without context the story of North Carolina police officers dispersing a group of liberal protesters and prospective voters.

According to the media, casting doubt on the outcome of an election is bad, unless you are portraying Republicans as a bunch of racist vote suppressors. That's what Stephanie Ruhle and Al Sharpton did on MSNBC's Tuesday morning Election Day Coverage with Sharpton claiming his National Action Network is keeping their eyes out to prevent a repeat of 2018.

Joy Reid on election night, appalled that Donald Trump had won states like Florida and Ohio, wondered if this means that maybe America is simply as bad as Donald Trump himself. Even a narrow Biden lead, in her eyes, would damage the standing of the country beyond repair. 

As Florida turned sour for the Democrats and Joe Biden on election night, worry crept in at MSNBC. Al Sharpton slimed Cuban voters as dupes who are susceptible to “propaganda.” Nicolle Wallace fretted that the liberal network’s viewers might be heading to the “liquor cabinet.”
