Talking heads on CNN and MSNBC are convinced President Trump has some shadowy ulterior motive for assuming federal control of policing in Washington, D.C. In addition to citing cooked crime statistics to protest President Trump’s federalization of policing in D.C., panelists on the liberal cable networks have begun offering up wild theories for what Trump’s “real” goal was.

Liberal cable networks CNN and MSNBC have been citing fabricated statistics in an attempt to debunk President Trump’s claims on Monday about rampant crime in Washington, D.C. Over the past 24 hours, these two networks have cited the dubious statistics over 70 times, while refusing to acknowledge that a D.C. police official was suspended for tampering with those stats just months ago.

On Sunday's The Weekend: Primetime, NPR's Jasmine Garsd joined the regular MSNBC panel to fret over the alleged "brutality" of ICE arrests, and went along with co-host Charles Coleman Jr. dismissing Dean Cain and other potential ICE recruits as "rogue cowboys."

On Thursday afternoon, MSNBC's Chris Jansing presided over a panel that fretted over video of border agents using a Penske truck to lure and arrest illegal aliens in Los Angeles, and contributor Tim Miller scoffed over right-leaning actor Dean Cain announcing plans to join ICE.
