What once might have been shocking is all too commonplace for a media in the later stages of Trump Derangement syndrome.

The seventh and final season of HBO’s Veep plans to not only mock President Trump but to show utter disdain for his supporters, too. That attitude is on display in episode one titled “Iowa” that aired March 31 as mass shootings and small-town life in Iowa are used as the butt of jokes.

The documentary reflects very negatively on the King of Pop, who spent much of the second half of his life facing allegations of pedophilia. Not surprisingly, Maher and the liberals on his panel could not resist comparing Jackson to their least favorite person on Earth: President Trump.

HBO anchor John Oliver may be your standard entertainment liberal, but even he can see the awfulness in the way ex-Today host Matt Lauer treated women. In a segment deriding psychics as the low rent scam artists, the Last Week Tonight host mocked Lauer as “sophisticated Manhattan sex monster.” 

According to Time Magazine, Veep star and former Seinfeld leading lady is a shining beacon of Hollywood feminine power, because — yeah you get it — she’s funny, beautiful, doesn’t take crap from no man, and has all the right liberal heroes. Oh and she also thinks Trump’s a “moron” too. This is the kind of stuff that gives her that “America’s Sweetheart” quality.

Bill Maher had no problem working an insult against middle America into his opening monologue during the Friday night edition of Real Time. Maher talked about Jussie Smollett and how “he paid two men $3500 to assault him for being black and gay, something he could have gotten for free in Texas.”

On Friday’s Real Time, host Bill Maher talked about Christopher Paul Hasson, the Coast Guard lieutenant arrested for allegedly planning a domestic attack on liberal politicians and media figures. He did his best to argue that President Trump’s rhetoric inspired the foiled terror plot, describing him as “a moderate among Republicans.”

Phony racially-motivated attacks and Democrats being caught in blackface were just some of the controversies that liberal journalists and celerities actually blamed on Donald Trump and his Wall-endorsing, red hat-wearing, supporters this past month.    

Hard-left HBO host John Oliver went on an anti-Brexit rant, Sunday, seething about stupid voters who allowed the country to vote against the European Union. He also featured a profanity-laced tirade from a Winston Churchill impersonator, mocking his home country: “We haven’t begun to f**k ourselves!”
