Following the White House’s newly-released proposal for an immigration deal, on Friday, all three network morning shows dismissed conservative critics of the plan as “hardliners.” Despite also touting harsh rhetoric from Democrats who “blasted the proposal,” the same reporters refused to hurl any similar negative labels at the liberal lawmakers.

Even though CBS and NBC had just started to cover revelations that five months worth of text messages from anti-Trump FBI officials had gone missing, on Wednesday morning, correspondents on both networks were already trying to dismiss the story as a “partisan” GOP effort to “undermine” Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation. Meanwhile, ABC continued to remain silent on the news.

The liberal media are so reluctant to give President Trump credit for anything positive his legislation achieves, that they will even keep silent when that legislation directly benefits them.

Time is everything, especially when it comes to understanding the media’s priorities. At the end of January, there were two marches the same weekend both claiming to stand for women. But the network coverage was anything but similar.

After Democrats shut down the government on Friday over their demand to protect illegal immigrants from deportation, all three broadcast networks spent the weekend reaching back to 2013 to accuse Donald Trump of changing his mind on the legislative tactic. At the same time, NBC, ABC and CBS completely ignored the stunning hypocrisy of Democratic leader Chuck Schumer.

As they always do, ABC automatically knew who to blame for the possible federal government shutdown Saturday. ABC's political analyst Matthew Dowd compared the current situation to the Jimmy Carter era, on January 19th's Good Morning America, saying that Democrats had the upper hand with Americans' sympathies, because they didn’t have “control” of Congress or the White House.

Despite liberal journalists like Michael Wolff gushing to CBS This Morning Monday that President Trump could be ousted out of office through the 25th Amendment, not everyone in the liberal media is buying it. ABC’s legal analyst and Mediaite founder Dan Abrams dismissed the latest strategy liberals were arguing as a legal way to get Trump out of office.

Friday morning on ABC’s Good Morning America, veteran anchor and former President Clinton aide George Stephanopoulos grilled Sean Spicer over the newly released controversial White House book by journalist Michael Wolff. Repeatedly, Stephanopoulos demanded Spicer confirm the sleazy gossip as accurate, and accused Trump of violating the First Amendment by trying to halt its publication.

Monday morning's newscasts made a stark illustration of how much importance FNC places on the issue of human rights in Iran in contrast with the broadcast networks and CNN as Fox and Friends managed to spend five times as much time on the anti-government protests as ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN all combined that morning.
