During a panel discussion on Tuesday’s Good Morning America about the sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, ABC News Legal Correspondent Sunny Hostin fretted that the accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, would be put “on trial” during a Senate hearing scheduled for Monday and warned the “older white men” in the GOP to be “very careful” in their questioning. 

While all three network morning shows on Monday reported on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh being accused of sexual assault as a teenager in the 1980s and conducted interviews with the accuser’s lawyer, only NBC pointed out that both the woman leveling the allegation and her attorney were Democratic Party activists.

Wednesday morning the networks continued raging against President Trump for praising the federal response to Hurricane Maria last year from the Oval Office and on Twitter. Cecilia Vega issued her own scathing report on ABC’s Good Morning America, bashing Trump before anchor Robin Roberts brought on FEMA Chief Brock Long to get him to do the same. During an exclusive interview with Donald Trump Jr. aired on Tuesday’s Good Morning America, ABC News correspondent Tara Palmeri was ready to convict the President’s eldest son of an unspecified crime. She touted him being “under the microscope” in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation and asked Trump Jr.: “Are you scared that you could go to jail?”

On Friday and Saturday, former President Obama was on the campaign trail in blue districts trying to help Democrats take back the House in November by targeting the sitting president. On Friday’s Today show, NBC News acknowledged allegations from former investigative producer Rich McHugh that the network tried to kill reporting from McHugh and fellow journalist Ronan Farrow exposing the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault scandal. However, the vast majority of the paltry one-minute-eight-second report, 43 seconds (63%), focused on NBC’s denial of the claim.

On Thursday, ABC’s Good Morning America ran wild with Democratic claims of racism against Florida Republican gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis , hyping a “fierce backlash” and “firestorm” over the GOP congressman using a common expression during an interview on Wednesday while discussing the left-wing policies of his African-American opponent.

All three networks on Wednesday touted the surprise win of Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum. The liberal Democrat, endorsed by Bernie Sanders, advocates for the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. After Donald Trump struck a trade deal with Mexico on Monday, ABC’s World News Tonight avoided the news of another potential trade war being avoided. On Tuesday, the network finally got around to the topic, but allowed just a scant 37 seconds on the subject. And while CBS This Morning offered a full report, the Today show only managed 25 seconds. 

As the Media Research Center’s Geoff Dickens explained on Monday, journalists loved the late John McCain, except when he got in their way. That hypocrisy was certainly on display on ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS This Morning.
