For your friendly neighborhood Media Research Center News Analyst, Election Night represents a unique slog through hours of coverage stuffed with Acela Media “analysis” which is little more than laundered Democrat talking points- in other words, the usual media brain rot. But on occasion, one is fortunate enough to witness something completely and unexpectedly different.

CNN host Elex Michaelson interviewed Rep. Nancy Pelosi, and she uncorked on President Trump, a "vile creature. The worst thing on the face of the Earth." CNN analyst and former Biden communications director Kate Bedingfield added a "You go, girl." 

There’s no getting around it: Our "corporate media" is down on capitalism, and a new poll showing a growing disdain for the foundation of American economic thought shows the media tilt may be working -- or the professorial tilt. 

Another weekend rolled through, with the elitist media doing their level best to actively avoid covering the biggest political scandal since Watergate: the weaponization of the federal government against Republicans and conservatives known as Operation Arctic Frost. Instead, the Sunday shows ran their clocks out with a mix of off-year election previews and shutdown apologia.

In a lengthy rant decrying the ruination of CNN among other things, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell made the time to take gratuitous swipes at CNN Senior Political Commentator Scott Jennings. The rant, aside from being weird and gratuitous, was unwarranted.

CNN finally launched on Monday its long-hyped streaming channel entitled CNN All Access, hoping it lives beyond the 32 days its first iteration — CNN+ — lasted and that it won’t lose $300 million. CNN’s Jake Tapper had on the seven-time Mr.Olympia and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to discuss partisan gerrymandering, among other topics, and got an earful when he tried to justify California’s gerrymandering referendum known as Prop 50. Tapper got a near-total recitation of Democrat partisan gerrymandering efforts in a way not normally seen on cable TV.

Inside Politics anchor Dana Bash invited several CNN contributors on Friday to question efforts made by the Trump administration to ensure future election integrity. The segment was based on a CNN report that highlighted several notable (and, in their view, infamous) individuals aligned with President Trump’s goals.
