CBS: ‘Great Risk’ as Trump ‘Dredges Up’ ‘Unproven’ Rape Accusation

A day after NBC dismissed the Bill Clinton rape accusation as “discredited,” CBS This Morning journalist Julianna Goldman on Friday warned that there was “great risk” for Donald Trump as he “dredges up” an “unproven” sex claim. Showing her distaste, Goldman chided, “Trump's most recent attack, dredging up this nearly 40-year-old unproven accusation.” Co-host Gayle King lamented, “Donald Trump is…

ABC, CBS Say Bill Clinton Rape Claims Are 'Old and Discredited'

On Wednesday’s edition of Hannity, Donald Trump dropped the big one on the Hillary Clinton campaign, openly accusing former President Bill Clinton of Rape. Trump’s new line of attack has been telegraphed for months. And the liberal media reacted in the most predictable way, by claiming it has no basis in fact. “The rape accusation is decades-old and discredited,” ABC’s Tom Llamas stated,…

ABC and CBS Groan: Trump ‘Rehashing’ ‘Old’ Rape Allegations

The journalists at ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS This Morning on Thursday offered groaning coverage of Donald Trump “rehashing” “old” rape allegations about Bill Clinton. Given the networks’s past hesitance in covering the claims against the Democrat, it’s clear these journalists probably didn’t enjoy highlighting them now. On CBS, Major Garrett reminded, “In an interview Wednesday, Donald…

CBS Host's Freudian Slip: 'We Were All Laughing' At GOP Primary Fight

Gayle King quickly corrected herself on Thursday's CBS This Morning, after revealing that "we were all laughing" at the strife within the Republican Party during the presidential primaries. O’Donnell highlighted the New York Times piece investigating Mr. Trump and reminded, “It says many of the women interviewed, quote, ‘reveal unwelcomed romantic advances,…

Yet, ABC’s Good Morning America allowed a mere 14 seconds on the story and CBS This Morning’s Gayle King defended the company. Co-host Gayle King spun, “They didn't have to meet at all. So, call it PR or…

CBS, NBC Spin Nevada Convention Controversy for Hillary

It took most of the networks three days to finally cover the controversial Nevada Democrat Convention, where Sanders supporters tried to stand up to the Clinton election machine. But instead of documenting the arguably shady actions of the state party officials, the networks chose to smear Hillary Clinton’s rival. “Penchant for actual violence,” read both CBS and NBC reporters from a Democrat…
