During a CNN panel debate Sunday on whether or not Samantha Bee deserved to be compared to Roseanne Barr, host Brian Stelter and his liberal guests somehow turned the conversation back to blame Trump for the female comedians’ offensive comments.

Has liberal Hollywood just completely run out of original material? Season four of Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, a ditzy, nonsensical comedy series, makes me think so. Showtime’s I’m Dying Up Here proves it’s not offering any new material by once again bashing Christianity. It’s only fitting, I suppose, since the show is based in the 1970's that its jokes feel that old. This week, the show attempts to give us tasteless and disparaging humor about one of the sacraments of Catholicism.
