CNN Lets Castro Complain Trump Lost Track of Deported Parents

On Friday's New Day show, as Texas Democratic Rep. Joaquin Castro appeared as a guest, substitute co-host David Gregory gave him a forum to complain that the Trump administration has lost track of illegal immigrant parents who were deported from the country without noting that many parents chose not to take their children with them when they were deported, while a portion also had criminal…

GQ's Magary Rips 'Grandstanding A-holes' Opposed to NFL Protest

Gentlemen's Quarterly magazine gave up all pretense of being gentleman-like when it hired Keith Olbermann (who has since returned to ESPN) and the profane writer Drew Magary (see photograph). The latter is holding down the fort outrageously, as evidenced by a torrent of language not fit for men, women or children. On the day the NFL preseason opened with the annual Hall of Fame game in Canton,…

CNN’s Cuomo Lectures Conservatives on What It Means to Be Pro-Life

On Thursday, Pope Francis amended an element of Catholic doctrine that governed the church’s view of the death penalty. It went from being a punishment reserved for the most stringent of circumstances to not being permissible at all. Of course, the liberal media were eager to seize on the change to browbeat pro-life conservatives for not being pro-life enough if they supported the way it was. CNN…

CNN, MSNBC Decry Timing of Trump’s Commitment to Combat Meddling

On Thursday, at the direction of President Trump, America’s national security and intelligence chiefs lined up and spoke from the White House briefing room to reassure the country that they were doing everything in their power to combat Russian meddling in our elections. It was something the liberal media had been crying about for a long time, but the liberal media can never be pleased as CNN and…

Matthews: Unstable Trump Is ‘Like a Ship’s Captain in a Typhoon’

Seemingly running out of things to talk about or ways to spin how much trouble President Trump finds himself in, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews compared the President to a ship captain stuck “in a typhoon” making America a “Third World” country who’s struggling with his mental faculties.

What's the matter with you Republicans? Why aren't you acting the least bit worried about the upcoming report on the Russian investigation to be released by Special Counsel Robert Mueller? That is the attitude of Atlantic magazine writer Elaina Plott who can't figure out why Republicans are not in a state of panic over the future Mueller report. On his show August 1, Fox News host Sean Hannity proclaimed to CNN's Jim Acosta that he would defend him against violence and threats: "I will be the first person to come to your defense if I'm there, any one dares to lay a hand on you." He added that the CNN types don't seem as upset about threats and slurs against Sarah Huckabee Sanders or Pam Bondi or other Trump supporters.

CBS Tosses Softballs to Trevor Noah: Will Our ‘Crazy Moment' Pass?

The journalists at CBS This Morning on Thursday brought on liberal Daily Show host Trevor Noah to pontificate as a serious political analyst and not a comedian. With no hint of Noah’s hard-left politics, the hosts tossed him softballs such as this one from Alex Wagner: “My question to you is do you think this crazy moment we're in is passing crazy or permanent crazy?”

His Critics Have Not Blamed Him for the California Fires Yet

WASHINGTON — It has been a pretty good week for Donald Trump. The economy is growing faster than anyone on the left or in the middle or among the Never-Trumpers believed possible. Inflation is low, and employment is at a record high. Moreover, the president and the European Union reached an understanding on trade last week that signals the likely end of a trade war, at least with Europe.

Trump and Sulzberger on Media Bias

Every president since George Washington has suffered from a critical press. John F. Kennedy canceled all White House subscriptions to the New York Herald Tribune because of coverage he regarded as unfavorable. President Obama, who was almost universally adored by mainstream media, sometimes complained he wasn’t getting all the credit he thought he deserved for his policies; never mind that in…

Mitchell Frets Ivanka Not Lobbying Against Enforcing Immigration Laws

On Thursday's Andrea Mitchell Reports on MSNBC, host Mitchell not only fretted that First Daughter Ivanka Trump was not doing enough to "lobby" against aggressive enforcement of immigration laws, but she also seemed taken aback that Attorney General Jeff Sessions pushed for such enforcement as a "deterrent" as if such a motivation were a scandal, even though the Barack Obama administration also…
