Saturday Night Live Punts Rather Than Parody Rachel Maddow

You know you've made it when you're "parodied" on Saturday Night Live, Sen. Claire McCaskill, Democrat of Missouri, exclaimed to Rachel Maddow when appearing on Maddow's MSNBC show on Monday. Which might be true had SNL actually parodied Maddow. What they served up instead was a pallid impersonation at best when there was so much more to work with.

CNN's Costello: 'Is It Too Politically Dangerous to Attack' Carson?

Carol Costello was true to her liberal form on Wednesday's CNN Newsroom during a segment with Rick Tyler, Senator Ted Cruz's campaign spokesman. Costello asserted that "Ben Carson didn't exactly give riveting answers" during the latest GOP presidential debate, and asked, "Why did no one challenge him on that?" She also wondered, "Is it too politically dangerous to attack Ben Carson, or to even…

MSNBC.com Uses Veterans Day As Opportunity to Slam Civilian Gun Owners

Conservatives revere the Bill of Rights, including the 2nd Amendment, and highly respect those who have worn the uniform of this nation. So naturally MSNBC found Veterans Day a perfect opportunity to troll by giving a pro-gun control Army veteran a platform to insist "It’s time for vets to speak up about gun safety."

Maddow Producer: In GOP Debate, ‘Clear Loser’ Was ‘Reality’

Robin Williams’s first album was called Reality…What a Concept. More than one lefty blogger implied that Unreality…What a Concept would have been a fitting title for Tuesday night’s Republican presidential debate.

Univision Censors Cruz in GOP Debate Coverage

It is no secret that U.S. immigration policy is central to Univision’s existence. We have previously showcased video of Jorge Ramos openly admitting as much. This byline has also memorialized efforts to vitiate, suppress, or deceptively edit those Hispanic conservatives who refuse to toe the network’s line on policy. The result of the network’s institutional culture is a narrative collision that…

PBS Documentary: Former Foe Pays Amazing Tribute to American Veterans

Today is Veterans Day and ironically one of the greatest tributes paid to American veterans was made by a former deadly foe. A PBS documentary, Iwo Jima: From Combat to Comrades, broadcast yesterday and available online, featured the 70th reunion on Iwo Jima of veterans of that bloody battle. Among the veterans was Tsuruji Akikusa, a former radioman in the Imperial Japanese Navy who was badly…

Couric: Pro-Lifers Make It ‘Tough’ to Work at Planned Parenthood

Liberal, pro-abortion journalist Katie Couric on Tuesday interviewed the President of Planned Parenthood and worried about how “tough” pro-life supporters were making things for the organization. Couric snidely noted, “While Planned Parenthood says that abortions account for just three percent of its clinical work, opponents won't be happy until that number is zero.”

MSNBC Still Much Softer on Trump's Deportations Than Carson's Veracity

Veteran MSNBC watchers have surely noticed the Obama-loving network's extreme hostility to black Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson. These attacks and the pressure against Carson, compared to other Republicans in the race, has been intense. As a black conservative, Dr. Carson has taken extreme criticism and scrutiny for his words.

Hulu Censors Ads Redirecting Women from Planned Parenthood

Hulu is under criticism – for censoring women’s choices. In a Nov. 11 press release, pro-life group Students for Life of America revealed that online video streaming service Hulu refused to air ads offering pregnant women options other than Planned Parenthood. Yet, Hulu had no problem airing ads sponsored by the abortion giant itself.

Seattle Starbucks Locations Now Offering 'Safe Place' for LGBTQ

Good news! College campuses are no longer the only bastions of “safe spaces” protecting fragile minds from challenging ideas. Starbucks has announced it’s now offering the same, protective experience to the LGBTQ community in all its Seattle branches. The purveyor of overpriced, pretentious coffee has partnered with the city of Seattle to provide a “safe place” of refuge for victims to get “tea…

CBS Hypes $15 Minimum Wage Hours Ahead of GOP Debate

The protesters rallied in Milwaukee outside the GOP debate along with other activist groups like Black Lives Matter.

NYT Incurious About Racial Slur Charge by Mizzou Prof. Against Faculty

The New York Times is displaying an astounding lack of curiosity about a significant charge of racism relayed by its own editorial page editor. Brent Staples was quoting a Missourian article by University of Missouri journalism professor Cynthia Frisby when something she wrote just leaped off the page. It was a charge of racist slurs being hurled at her by fellow School of Journalism faculty…

Starting to get into the Christmas spirit? Then you just might want to donate to Planned Parenthood, says Glamour magazine. Just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas, women’s magazine Glamour published “31 Ways to Give Back This Holiday Season.” The list, compiled by editorial assistant Concepcion De Leon, recommended 31 causes or “good deeds” to donate to in order to “spread the holiday karma…

NBC Offers Dumbest Fact-Check of 2016 Campaign (So Far)

On Wednesday’s NBC Today, correspondent Peter Alexander actually attempted to discredit Marco Rubio’s rhetorical observation that “Welders make more money than philosophers.” Taking the comment literally, Alexander asserted: “That was one of the most memorable lines of the night, but it's also not true. Government statistics show that philosophers, philosophy teachers in this country, make on…
