Somehow, Daily Kos Morally Merges Aurora Killer With Jonah Goldberg

Jonah Goldberg has written a column advocating a swift execution for Aurora theatre killer James Holmes, which outraged “Tytalus” at the Daily Kos. His article is titled “Doughy Pantload vents his violent impulses.” In classic Kosmonaut fashion, the advocacy of killing the mass murderer somehow morally merges Holmes and Goldberg into identical warts on society’s gluteus maximus:

Washington Post Reporter Speculates On Fox News And Super-PACs Playing

Oh those looming racists at Fox News and the Republican-friendly super-PACs.  They just might try to play the race card against President Obama.  But not to worry!  It would only backfire against them. So suggested Washington Post reporter Nia-Malika Henderson, appearing on this weekend's edition of the Chris Matthews show. Henderson assured viewers that if the Super PACs and Fox News "hint…

AP Headline: 'Unemployment Could Stay High'; Opening Sentence: 'High U

It's becoming increasingly clear that the Associated Press, aka the Administration's Press, believes there are two primary kinds of users of its output: those who only read headlines and those who read on or click through. It often dresses up the headlines with inaccuracies, omissions, and occasional downright falsehoods, which more often than not are respectively rendered properly, included,…

Russell Brand: Sarah Palin Is Popular Because 'People Want to F--k Her

British actor Russell Brand made a disgustingly sexist and misogynistic comment about former Alaska governor Sarah Palin Saturday. The Wrap reported moments ago that during a question and answer session at the Television Critics Association, Brand said of Palin's popularity, "People want to f--k her."

Paul Krugman Wants to Replace Ben Bernanke as Federal Reserve Chairman

Here’s a really scary thought: New York Times columnist Paul Krugman wants to replace Ben Bernanke as the Chairman of the Federal Reserve. The perilously liberal economist actually said this in a segment of CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS to be aired Sunday (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

Carney and WH Web Site 'Follow Up' Won't Admit to What the Law Dictate

One of the most embarrassing yet telling exchanges (using the term loosely, as will be seen) in the history of presidential press secretaries occurred on Thursday. Connie Lawn, described here as longest-serving White House reporter, asked Obama Press Secretary Jay Carney what should have been a really easy question: "What city does this administration consider to be the capital of Israel --…

Nina Totenberg Cites Highly-Edited Jon Stewart Video to Bash Romney an

You know, it's bad enough that a percentage of Americans admit to getting "the news" from Comedy Central's Daily Show and host Jon Stewart. But when a legal affairs correspondent from National Public Radio starts citing highly-edited videos created by this comedy show to bash presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney while defending President Obama, citizens should be…

Krauthammer Schools Entire 'Inside Washington' Panel on 'The Cowardice

Syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer perfectly demonstrated Friday why three liberal media members are no match for one conservative armed with the facts. During a discussion about gun control on PBS's Inside Washington, Krauthammer gave fellow panelists Colby King, Mark Shields, and Nina Totenberg a much-needed education on "the cowardice of the Democrats" regarding this issue (video…

Bozell Column: Hollywood's War On Chicken

The latest solid proof that Hollywood really can’t stand traditional Christianity has arrived in an unfolding boycott of Chick-fil-A, a Georgia-based fast-food chain that’s rapidly spreading franchises across America. Chick-fil-A demonstrates a public faith by closing all its stores on Sundays and on Thanksgiving and Christmas. It’s something the Left ridicules, but something anyone of any…

South Carolina Paper Whacks Gov. Nikki Haley Over 14-Year-Old Daughter

South Carolina’s largest newspaper has a new anti-Republican scoop: “Gov. Nikki Haley’s 14-year-old daughter is working in the State House gift shop, raising questions about nepotism that the governor’s office declines to answer.” The daughter, Rena Haley,  is working about 20 hours a week at $8 an hour. The newspaper called The State (based in Columbia, the state capital) is holding an…

CNN Prez Is Stepping Down, Causing False Reporting That CNN Is Non-Ide

CNN Worldwide president Jim Walton announced Friday he would be leaving at the end of the year, which came as no surprise since CNN's ratings fell 35 percent in the second quarter. What's surprising is that media reporters would pretend CNN can be "branded" as non-ideological, that it doesn't have that liberal-establishment media bias like ABC, CBS, and NBC. NPR's David Folkenflik asserted in…

Daily Kos Week in Review: Left-Wing Summer School

If Daily Kos were an online university, and you were taking a course called Fundamentals of the Republican Party, you would have learned this week that while bedrock GOP beliefs are incompatible with Christ's teachings, they're quite similar to Hitlerian ideology.   As usual, each headline is preceded by the blogger's name or pseudonym.
