NYT Columnist Maureen Dowd on Biden 'Coup' -- 'A Jaw-Dropping Putsch'

New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd raised a lot of eyebrows with her Saturday column, with the provocative headline "The Dems Are Delighted. But a Coup Is Still a Coup." Liberal journalists don't like to describe top Democrats forcing Biden out of the 2024 campaign a "coup," since he's still technically in office now.

FLASHBACK: Liberal Reporters Are Always Democrats’ Biggest Fans

The Democratic Convention begins tomorrow in Chicago, and there should be absolutely no suspense over how the media will treat Kamala Harris, Tim Walz and the party’s other stars. The MRC’s archives, going back to 1988, show that Democrats always get a huge tailwind of good press coming out of their party conventions.

Jim Geraghty Shoots Down Snotty NY Times Lady on Kamala Avoiding Press

National Review political editor Jim Geraghty shot down snotty New York Times podcaster Lulu Garcia-Navarro on CNN's The Chris Wallace Show on Saturday when she tried to suggest it's "a little disingenuous for some on the right" to be demanding Kamala Harris do interviews and/or press conferences.

NPR Furiously Spins Right Past 'Second Gentleman' Cheating with Nanny

Almost two weeks after the news broke, NPR's All Things Considered told listeners that "Second Gentleman" Doug Emhoff wasn't a gentleman with his first wife. It came in an otherwise promotional piece by reporter Deepa Shivaram. It was dismissed in 51 words, and NPR left out he was sleeping with the nanny, and got her pregnant.

Media Memory-Holes Possible Trump Trial Jury Tampering Incident

The blog criticizes Politico and other media outlets for ignoring potential jury tampering in Donald Trump's Manhattan hush money trial. It notes that a Facebook user claimed his cousin, a juror, voted for conviction before the verdict was announced but the issue has since been forgotten. TIME Glorifies Kamala as Media Rallies

Ya gotta love it. Long after the 2024 campaign enters the dustbin of history, the Time magazine cover story on Kamala Harris will shine through as a perfect example of just how the liberal “mainstream” media rallies when one of their own is newly front and center.

Joy Reid Fawns Over Harris-Walz 'White Guy Taco' Video

MSNBC’s Joy Reid and her Friday guests could not control their laughter on The ReidOut at Kamala Harris and Tim Walz discussing the latter’s “white guy tacos” and subsequent GOP reaction. The Saturday morning editions of the network morning shows took different approaches to Vice President Kamala Harris’s radical proposal to install price controls on food. The Washington Post Ads on Twitter Promote Kamala, Attack Trump-Vance

The Washington Post seems to be conducting a Democrat-boosting ad campaign on Twitter. The latest one was boosting their "Fact Checker" Glenn Kessler attacking "a trio of silly, false claims" by J.D. Vance against Kamala Harris for being a leftist radical. But they've also promoted pro-Harris gush stories in Twitter ads.

PBS Promotes Leftist ABA Effort to 'Defend Democracy' Against Trump

The PBS News Hour promoted more liberal election fear-mongering, this time from the ostensibly objective but actually leftist American Bar Association. Anchor Amna Nawaz was eager to push its fear against the threat of authoritarianism in America under a second Trump term as a bipartisan concern by pairing former Obama DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson with retired "conservative" judge…
