But this headline for Brian Sternberg's valentine in Variety should come with a complimentary air sickness bag: Rachel Maddow, Nicolle Wallace, and Joy Reid are the Primetime Avengers.

The following are the most outrageous outbursts from leftist journalists and celebrities over the last month.

On the cusp of the vice-presidential debate, Maddow naturally sought to connect Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) to a series of antisemitic and fascist revolutionaries who wanted the universities destroyed in the 1930s and 1940s because they spread “communistic” ideas.

The easiest prediction to make in light of the last couple of days of Regime Media expectation setting and Harris talking point-echoing was that, after proclaiming Minnesota Governor and Democrat vice presidential nominee Tim Walz would virtually soil himself on the debate stage, they’d turn around and proclaim him the winner.

CBS’s Stephen Colbert might as well rename The Late Show to The Kamala Harris Fan Club because on Wednesday he and MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow marveled about how supposedly everyone from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to Dick Cheney and from the military to Scientific American loves her.

Hillary Clinton has yet another book out, and one of the first publicity stops was a 12-minute softball session on The Rachel Maddow Show on Monday. Late in the interview came a shocking line from Hillary about civilly or criminally charging right-wing “Deplorables” who spread misinformation.

The end of a Democrat convention really draws out proclamations of Historic Possibilities, and Rachel Maddow, Jake Tapper, and Stephen Colbert stood out in the gushfest. It's quite a contrast with how all the anchors summarized Donald Trump's acceptance speech. 

It’s a challenging task but we here at NewsBusters are going to try to sift through all the crazy, angry and ridiculous observations made by leftist journalists every night of the Democratic National Convention coverage and pick one for Worst of the Night.

The media’s relentless astro-turfing of support for Kamala Harris went into overdrive on the first night of the DNC. Either somebody from the campaign distributed talking points to the media, or else everyone at CNN, MSNBC, and the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) independently rediscovered the word “electric” at exactly the same time.

As the Democratic National Convention kicked off, the Regime Media worked overtime to gaslight the American people into believing that the ensuing proceedings were the result of a selfless handover of power, and not the culmination of a bloodless coup against a sitting American president.

There were plenty of outrageous hot takes from MSNBC during the Republican National Convention, but Rachel Maddow might have had the dumbest. On Tuesday, Maddow saw alt-right and possibly Aryan messaging in VP-nominee JD Vance’s Lord of the Rings-inspired venture capital firm.

When viewing MSNBC’s coverage of the Republican National Convention, one is led to wonder why leadership would sideline Morning Joe, albeit briefly, but not the insane asylum airing on prime-time. “Historian” Michael Beschloss’s assessment of President Trump’s acceptance speech only serves to intensify that wonderment. 

There is a jarring disconnect between the elite media, especially leftwing Acela Media, and the rest of America. And it is not often that we get such jarring examples of that disconnect as MSNBC’s treatment of the portion of the Republican National Convention devoted to honoring the memories of our brave service members killed during the ISIS-K attack on the Hamid Karzai International Airport…

MSNBC’s decision to bench the Morning Joe crew in the name of “lowering the temperature while allowing the prime-time lineup to run amuck at the Republican National Convention is, to put it charitably, a head-scratching decision. Tonight’s shameless and spurious comparison of the parties’ dealing with felony convictions serves as proof evident of the folly of that decision.
