With a Democratic Party dominated by the 69-year-old Hillary Clinton and the 68-year-old Elizabeth Warren, the journalists at CBS This Morning are apparently desperate to find a young, dynamic leader for the liberal cause. Apparently, they’ve found him. Not a senator or a governor, but the mayor of South Bend Indiana. 

The snide journalists at CBS on Tuesday seem to wonder why Republicans are intentionally hurting the gullible voters who support them. The hosts of CBS This Morning talked to Shannon Pettypiece of Bloomberg about the Senate GOP’s plan to repeal ObamaCare. The journalists at CBS and NBC have found a new Donald Trump “outrage” to hyperventilate over: The President drove his golf cart onto a green at one of the courses he owns. This, according to CBS This Morning guest host David Westin, is a “mortal sin.” Matt Lauer insisted he was “gasping” over video of Trump. 

On Friday, while both NBC’s Today and ABC’s Good Morning America provided full reports on left-wing actor Johnny Depp joking about assassinating President Trump, CBS This Morning could only manage 45 seconds of air time out of its two-hour broadcast to mention the latest outrageous celebrity outburst. 

On Tuesday, the network morning shows were delighted by the news that diplomat David Rank had resigned from his post as Acting U.S. Ambassador to China over President Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris climate deal. Anchors touted the departure as “more fallout” from the White House rejecting the environmental agreement and evidence of a “revolt in the foreign service.”

The U.S. economy under President Donald Trump is already showing signs of great improvement. So if you are CBS News how can you spin this good news into something resembling bad news? The aggressively pro-abortion journalists at CBS have suddenly discovered a need to protect society’s “weakest members.” But it’s not a turn towards respecting the pro-life position. No, the hosts of CBS This Morning on Wednesday used this talking point as a way to decry Donald Trump’s proposed budget. 

Seeing no problems with it, CBS and NBC on Monday blithely touted Democratic obstructionism, promoting Chuck Schumer’s plans to block a new FBI director to replace James Comey. In comparison, these same networks (and others) routinely railed against Republican efforts to impede the agenda of Barack Obama. 

After Education Secretary Betsy DeVos was rudely shouted down by left-wing students during a commencement speech at Bethune-Cookman University on Wednesday, NBC’s Today and CBS This Morning actually attempted to justify the disrespectful behavior.

Appearing on Thursday’s CBS This Morning, liberal actress Elisabeth Moss was thrilled that Hillary Clinton warned about the United States becoming the fictional authoritarian regime depicted in Moss’s Hulu series The Handmaid’s Tale: “And for us, when Hillary brought up the show, it was sort of a huge honor that we could have that kind of impact. And we all respect her so much.”

Monday’s CBS This Morning was broadcast live from the White House’s East Room and while there were plenty of fun, historical, and nonpartisan segments on various rooms inside the White House, the liberal bias didn’t receive a day off as the co-hosts pushed Trump advisor Gary Cohn from the left on the President’s tax plan. 

In a hostile exchange with Attorney General Jeff Sessions on ABC’s Good Morning America on Friday, substitute co-host Amy Robach first demanded that the Justice Department chief respond to a local Democratic politician in New York accusing him of being anti-immigrant and then put words his mouth to make it seem like the smear was true.
