All three networks on Thursday reacted similarly to Donald Trump’s speech about the mass shooting in Broward County, Florida, knocking it at as free of calls for gun control and specific policy. Yet, the President, did mention mental health reform, something that NBC’s Chuck Todd seemed to miss. 

During a friendly interview with Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff on Friday’s CBS This Morning, co-host Norah O’Donnell teed up the liberal lawmaker to trash the upcoming release of a Republican memo alleging an abuse of the FISA system against the Trump campaign in 2016. She claimed the document in question would only show the GOP’s “profound ignorance.”

On Tuesday night, NBC threw what could be described as a hissy fit following President Trump’s first State of the Union address by attacking it as a “subdued,” “tired” President and speech that will keep “the fact checkers...busy” but didn’t address Russia or gun control.

As many as five months worth of texts between two anti-Trump officials at the FBI are missing, but ABC and NBC have yet to report on this stunning development. Ann Curry is “not surprised” at the allegations of abuse by her former Today co-host Matt Lauer. She also called out the “verbal sexual harassment” at NBC. Those were the big revelations when Curry appeared on CBS This Morning, Wednesday, to discuss the Me Too movement and her return to TV. 

CBS This Morning co-host Norah O’Donnell on Friday pestered veteran journalist Bob Schieffer about Donald Trump’s “mental fitness” and encouraged the veteran reporter to tout the gossipy book by Michael Wolff. Asked about the error-filled tome, Scheiffer praised, “ I think he really nailed the chaos in the White House. And I think he was right on.” 

CBS REALLY loves The Post. The journalists at CBS This Morning have now devoted 20 minutes and 48 seconds over the last month to promoting the Vietnam-era film about The Washington Post’s efforts to publish the Pentagon Papers. Unsurprisingly, the hosts at CBS really enjoy a movie that touts “non-partisan” reporters as “heroes” for exposing a Republican president. 

On Monday, the three network morning shows were in ecstasy over Oprah Winfrey’s Golden Globes acceptance speech and already predicting a 2020 presidential run for the former daytime talk show host. Anchors and correspondents seemed to be trying to outdo one another in who could heap more sycophantic praise on the liberal entertainer.

Liberal journalist Michael Wolff, the man who has bragged that his new book will “finally bring down” the Trump presidency, on Monday absurdly insisted that he has “no political agenda.” To which CBS This Morning co-host Norah O’Donnell responded, “Fair enough. Fair enough.”

After NBC’s Today co-host Savannah Guthrie accused House Speaker Paul Ryan of “living in a fantasy world” on Wednesday for predicting that tax reform legislation would encourage businesses to raise wages for their employees, on Thursday, the network morning show tried its best to deny the reality that several major companies announced that they would be doing exactly that.

You don’t see that very often. The journalists at CBS This Morning on Thursday grilled socialist Senator Bernie Sanders, hitting the progressive over hypocrisy relating to a possible government shutdown. On the issue of Sanders and Al Franken, the co-hosts called him out on his flip flopping.  

With all the focus on Roy Moore and accusations of sexual harassment, CBS chose to go back to the ‘90s for a historical example. But, no. Not Bill Clinton. Instead, a Norah O’Donnell segment hyped “trailblazer” Anita Hill. The CBS This Morning host even noted questions as to whether then-Senator Joe Biden did enough to stop Clarence Thomas. 

A furious round of liberal-on-liberal violence broke out on Tuesday’s CBS This Morning. The show’s hosts confronted former Democratic National Committee Chair Donna Brazile for daring to expose Hillary Clinton’s efforts to hobble any contenders in the 2016 primaries. Barack Obama’s official photographer has released a book of pictures and the co-hosts of CBS This Morning on Monday, unsurprisingly, went nuts for it. Norah O’Donnell deemed it “beautiful.” Charlie Rose hailed the “fantastic” cover photo of the ex-President. This comes only a few weeks of a photo book on Michelle Obama. ABC deemed that “picture perfect.”
