In addition to Bianna Golodryga’s previous departure, co-hosts John Dickerson and Norah O’Donnell have been booted from CBS This Morning for correspondent Tony Dokoupil and CBS This Morning: Saturday co-host Anthony Mason to team with Obama donor and family friend Gayle King.

A scoffing Newt Gingrich dismissed the legitimacy of the Washington Post, calling out liberal media bias and declaring the paper not “serious.” Appearing on CBS This Morning, Monday, Norah O’Donnell mentioned Donald Trump’s tendency to hammer at critics. At least that’s the impression left when you look at the tiny (1 minutes, 52 seconds) amount of time devoted to the former Vice President’s grabbiness in their coverage of his campaign’s official launch. 

Don’t be surprised, but CBS This Morning on Thursday covered the launch of Joe Biden without ever mentioning any of his gaffes, including his habit of being grabby with women. Instead, co-host Norah O’Donnell touted “Uncle Joe” talking about America’s “core values.” The CBS journalist also repeated the talking points from the Democrat’s announcement video. 

During a contentious interview with Republican Utah Senator Mike Lee on Tuesday, the hosts of CBS This Morning grilled the lawmaker on whether President Trump should be impeached following the release of the Mueller report and fretted that the President was unfit for office. They also pressed Lee on whether the results of the Russia investigation would “hurt” Republicans politically.

CBS on Monday night and Tuesday morning focused on the Trump administration’s zero tolerance separation policy, blasting it as “cruel” and an example of why journalists need to get beyond “policy” and focus on real world results. Strangely, CBS journalists often skip the equally heart-wrenching impacts of murders and drunk driving killings by those illegally in the United States.
