Though many journalists and networks are still not complaining about Hillary Clinton’s media blackout, the silent treatment seems to be irritating the reporters at CBS. A network graphic on Wednesday pointedly complained, “No Questions, Please: Clinton Criticized for Having Few News Conferences.” 

After all three network morning shows promoted the Clinton campaign’s attempt to discredit criticism of the Clinton Foundation on Wednesday, on Thursday, both NBC’s Today and CBS This Morning kept providing the Democratic nominee with a megaphone to defend the family charity and dismiss accusations of corruption.

On Wednesday, while all three network morning shows did cover the latest revelation that over half of Hillary Clinton’s non-government meetings during her time as Secretary of State were with Clinton Foundation donors, the broadcasts also recited Clinton campaign spin dismissing the Associated Press report as “utterly flawed.”

Throughout all of their news programs, both morning and evening, they gave the e-mails a total of 6 minutes 59 seconds. In stark contrast, they dragged out Trump’s “Second Amendment people” comment with a whopping 25 minutes, 54 seconds of coverage.

On Monday, Hillary Clinton held a rally in Orlando, Florida and in attendance was Seddique Mateen, the father of the Orlando nightclub terrorist, while on Tuesday, Trump used innuendo to suggest that 2nd Amendment supporters would somehow stop Clinton. In all, the nets dedicated over four times the coverage to Trump, rather than Clinton, during their Tuesday evening broadcasts. 

Donald Trump spent more than 52 minutes laying out his plans for the economy in Detroit Monday. It’s an issue voters ranked as their most important, yet ABC spent only devoted 33 seconds to what Trump proposed.

The three network morning shows on Tuesday allowed a scant minute and 59 seconds to a lawsuit filed against Hillary Clinton by the grieving parents of Benghazi victims.
