Morning Joe fails to identify as a Democrat the man charged with the murder of a Las Vegas investigative reporter, and spends only 47 seconds on the story. CNN's New Day devotes over three minutes to the story, and though it buries the fact deep in the segment, does eventually identify the suspect, Robert Telles, as a "Democratic politician."

On New Day, CNN sports correspondent Carolyn Manno falsely claimed that Serena Williams has "outlasted Tom Brady."  Williams is retiring at age 40. Brady is 45, and continues to play as the starting quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

President Biden’s Thursday night speech was a big hit on the pro-Democrat TV networks. CNN, MSNBC, and NBC News Now all carried the event and heaped effusive praise on their favorite president’s rhetoric.

CNN senior political analyst John Avlon joined Thursday’s edition of New Day to declare that GOP opposition to President Biden’s student loan forgiveness order is unwarranted because it is “good economic policy” and the White House is correct to say that Republicans aren't in a position to complain because of their history of cutting taxes.

CNN climbed up on its politically-correct soapbox on Monday's New Day with the subject being monkeypox thanks to this declaration from CNN national correspondent Dianne Gallagher that, in no uncertain terms, "monkeypox is NOT a sexually-transmitted infection." Given Liz Cheney's overwhelming defeat in yesterday's Wyoming Republican congressional primary, it would clearly be a very uphill slog to win a national GOP presidential primary, should that be her goal for 2024. On today's New Day, CNN cast Cheney as having two legs to her base of support: Democrats, and the Beltway media!
 

Two of Rudy Giuliani's former aides turned on him with a vengeance on CNN's New Day on Tuesdayt morning. First up, former Rudy spox Ken Frydman. Commenting on Rudy being made a prosecution target in Fulton County, Georgia, Frydman said that Rudy's strategy is to "delay, delay, delay," and that: "At this point in his life, Rudy's goal is to die a free man."

On New Day, CNN counterterrorism analyst Phil Mudd claimed even the Top Secret clearances he had as a senior official at the FBI and CIA would not have permitted him to view the documents regarding nuclear weapons that allegedly were at Mar-a-Lago.  Mudd also twice referred to Mar-a-Lago, for purposes of deriding the security measures in place there, as a "beach house."
