Misinformation: Nets LIE as GOP Saves Country from Election Power Grab
On Tuesday, Senate Republicans saved the country of the Democratic-led federal takeover of the county’s election via the For the People Act. But the liberal broadcast networks were out in force that evening to gaslight their audiences and suggest Republicans had shot down an effort to “expand voting rights” that would have “overhauled” the system. And, of course, they spewed their false claims…
CBS Boasts 'Legacy-Defining' Summit, ABC Lauded Biden Snapping at CNN
President Biden concluded his Geneva, Switzerland summit with nothing to show for it but some nice photos of him shaking hands with Russian authoritarian Vladimir Putin and footage of Russian security manhandling the American press. But that didn’t stop CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell from delivering a doting segment proclaiming it a “legacy-defining” summit, despite admitting it went…
Big Three IGNORE Bad BLS Report Showing Skyrocketing Inflation
Spiking inflation seems to be the new normal under President Joe Biden’s administration, and the ABC, CBS and NBC evening news continue to protect him from negative coverage.
Nets Fluff Biden Before Putin Summit: He's 'Confident' and 'Energized'
With just hours to go until gaffe-prone President Biden was set to sit down for an hours-long summit with Russian authoritarian Vladimir Putin, the big three broadcast networks diligently worked to fluff up the confused President Tuesday evening by suggesting that he looked “confident” and “energized.” They also did the bidding of the White House and tried to lower expectations in certain ways…
Nets Swoon for Biden: ‘Cementing the Fractured’ NATO Bond Trump Hurt
Despite the fact that former President Trump had shaken the NATO alliance out of their complacency and reliance on the U.S. for their collective protection, the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) gave President Biden a hero’s welcome. Together they suggested Biden was the one “cementing the fractured American bond with NATO,” as NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt specifically put it.
ABC, CBS Ignore Harris’s Border Blunder, Tout Her Snapping at Critics
As NewsBusters documented on Tuesday, Vice President Kamala Harris delivered a colossal blunder when pressed by NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt on why she hadn’t visited the U.S.-Mexico border despite being the point person on the crisis. Her bewildering comment about how she had not been to Europe either was completely ignored by ABC’s World News Tonight, while the CBS Evening News tried…
After Touting Texas Dem Stunt, ABC Decries Gov. Abbott Withholding Pay
On Tuesday morning, ABC News (along with CBS and NBC) celebrated Texas Democrats who decided to pull a stunt and walk out of their session to block the passage of an election integrity bill. But after praising their side for using “the one tool that they had left,” as congressional correspondent Rachel Scott put it, they weren’t amused with Republican Governor Greg Abbott saying that he’ll…
ABC Nurses Biden’s Flop With Israel, Ignores Egypt Taking the Lead
On Thursday, Israel and Hamas agreed to a tentative cease-fire as the latest flare-up in the conflict lasted 11 days. And as CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell admitted, “the truce follows last-minute negotiations led by Egypt…” But ABC’s World News Tonight would have their viewers believe that it was President Biden’s feeble “quiet diplomacy” that secured a moment of peace for the…
Big Three Stooges CENSOR Governor Cuomo to Get $5.1M from COVID Book
The ABC, CBS and NBC evening networks didn’t seem to mind New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) monetizing the disastrous way he handled the pandemic in his state.
At It Again! NBC Hides Alleged Juror Misconduct in Chauvin Trial
Almost two weeks after NewsBusters caught NBC Nightly News deceptively editing 911 audio from a police shooting, they were back it again on Tuesday. That evening, anchor Lester “fairness is overrated” Holt failed to share a breaking development that could possibly throw the murder and manslaughter verdicts against former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin into question. In reporting on…
ABC Trumpets ‘Pragmatic’ Biden’s ‘Make America Feel Good Night’
ABC followed the lead on Wednesday night of fellow broadcast networks CBS and NBC with their largely supportive coverage of President Biden’s first speech to a joint session of Congress. In ABC’s case, they called it a “Make America Feel Good Night” and “Make America Feel Pride Night” by “talk[ing] direction to people” following “an incredibly bold first 99 days” amidst the GOP’s “endless…
ALREADY? Pre-Speech ABC, NBC Laud Biden’s ‘Hopes,’ ‘Popular’ Agenda
Showing they were so enthralled with President Biden’s address to a joint session of Congress before he even said a word, ABC and NBC had already started on Wednesday night gushing over his plans, bringing out movie trailer-like opens and boasting of his “hope for an America returning to normal” filled with an agenda that’s extremely “popular” with all Americans.
CBS Obfuscates Dems Scheme to Pack SCOTUS, ABC Downplays Controversy
In a pathetic Thursday morning announcement in front of the Supreme Court, a gathering of radical Democrats from the House and Senate announced a bill that would pack the court with four liberal justices in an attempt to undo the conservative majority on the highest bench. It was a sleazy plot that would undo over 150 years of precedent, but it apparently didn’t rise to the level of newsworthy…
