Hosting Hardball on Thursday night after opining all day on the blockbuster Jim Comey Senate hearing, Matthews used his daily “Trump Watch” commentary to compare President Trump to Zimbabwe’s murderous dictator Robert Mughabe who ignores critics and operates with absolute rule.

Chris Matthews freaked out over James Comey’s testimony in front on Congress on Thursday, assailing Donald Trump as worse than Richard Nixon and sneering that the current President isn’t “used to the fact that he’s constrained by the Constitution.”

Appearing as a guest on Monday's Hardball, liberal MSNBC political analyst Ron Reagan claimed that "patriots" and "true Americans" will support impeaching President Donald Trump, whom he called a "national security threat" and a "dangerious individual." The liberal analyst went on to assert that those who do not do so are "engaged in behavior that can only be described as 'treasonable.'"

As the news was unfolding out of Manchester, England on Monday night with what we now know was an act of radical Islamic terrorism, the 7:00 p.m. Eastern hours of CNN and MSNBC felt that it was more important to spoon-feed viewers the latest bombshell reports about President Trump and the intelligence community.
