The co-hosts of CBS This Morning on Thursday brought on two experts to actually discuss the problems with ObamaCare and the spiking premiums. Yet, there prescriptions are typical of liberals in the media and in politics: More Obamacare. Doctor David Agus and author Steven Brill appeared to rebut the downside of the President’s health care law. 

News of Obamacare’s problems didn’t happen in vacuum. The law got years of support from a complicit media which praised the law, attacked its opponents and ignored adverse consequences. Below are six examples of journalists pushing the law.  

The baffled journalists at CBS  finally discovered what should be a massive story: ObamaCare premiums will skyrocket in 2017 by 25 percent. Yet, after ignoring the story on Monday, CBS This Morning allowed a scant 88 seconds on Tuesday. NBC on Monday spun the death of Tom Hayden, a ‘60s era radical activist who spouted pro-Communist propaganda, as an “enduring voice for progressive causes.” Matt Lauer simply referred to Hayden as someone who made “trips to North Vietnam,” but never described him as extreme. ABC’s Good Morning America also avoided such judgment. Only CBS This Morning referred to Hayden as a “radical activist.” 

Appearing on PBS’s Charlie Rose show, actor Nathan Lane, out of the blue, took a shot at Donald Trump as he called the GOP a “bully” and “misogynist.” Lane came on to promote his Broadway revival of The Front Page and couldn’t resist comparing his character to the GOP presidential nominee.  When Rose asked Lane to explain his character “Walter Burns,” the comedic actor responded: “Well, he’s,…

During back-to-back hostile interviews on CBS This Morning and NBC’s Today on Friday, Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence attempted to force the networks to actually cover the controversy swirling around the Wikileaks release of thousands of Clinton campaign e-mails. However, every time he raised the topic, the morning show hosts promptly cut him off.

On Monday, CBS This Morning hounded Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway over the second presidential debate. Norah O'Donnell wondered "what was the point" of spotlighting several of Bill Clinton's sexual abuse accusers just before the debate. Almost an hour earlier, O'Donnell and King, along with Charlie Rose, went much lighter on Hillary Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook.

PBS host Charlie Rose on Thursday discussed Kim Kardashian and the musical Hamilton with Supreme Court Judge Stephen Breyer. Yet, he offered no tough questions on the justice’s liberalism and instead labeled him a moderate. In a fawning introduction, Rose told viewers that Breyer “is known for his pragmatism, love of literature and love of architecture.” 

On Friday, all three network morning shows dutifully advanced concerns from Hillary Clinton’s campaign that Hurricane Matthew could impact voter registration in Florida and touted the Democratic nominee’s demand that the state’s deadline for registration be extended to help her get more support at the ballot box in November.

Despite coverage on all three networks of Congress overriding President Obama’s veto of legislation to allow 9/11 families to sue Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, only Thursday’s CBS This Morning mentioned the fact that Hillary Clinton’s vice presidential running mate Tim Kaine didn’t bother to show up for the vote. NBC and ABC both avoided the Virginia Senator’s absence.

PBS’s Charlie Rose program aired live for much of Monday night’s show recapping the first presidential debate and BBC’s Katty Kay credited debate moderator Lester Holt for his “dog whistle politics” question to Donald Trump about Hillary Clinton’s looks but hammered the “political malpractice” of Clinton barely having to discuss her e-mail scandal.
