On her MSNBC show on Monday, anchor Andrea Mitchell brought two different Democratic lawmakers to brush aside serious questions about Hillary Clinton and the DNC funding the infamous Russian dossier against Donald Trump. The host even teed up a soundbite of Clinton herself mocking journalists who actually covered the story.

In yet another example of MSNBC haughtily dismissing the Uranium/Clinton/Russia scandal, on Tuesday, after the House Intelligence Committee announced a new investigation into the Obama administration deal, anchors Andrea Mitchell and Craig Melvin touted Hillary Clinton denouncing the story as “nonsense” and “baloney.”  

On her primetime show Thursday night, MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow peddled an unsubstantiated conspiracy theory that somehow the Trump administration’s travel ban led to the deaths of four U.S. special forces soldiers in Niger. The accusation was then repeated on Friday by fellow MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell despite a complete lack of evidence.

On her MSNBC show on Thursday, host Andrea Mitchell sounded the alarm for her left-wing audience as she warned: “Well, President Trump, of course, is making headlines every day, every hour, but Vice President Mike Pence largely flying under the radar....Joining me now is staff writer of The New Yorker, Jane Mayer, who wrote the story, ‘The Danger of President Pence’...”

Discussing the growing list of sexual harassment and rape allegations against left-wing Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein on her MSNBC show Wednesday afternoon, anchor Andrea Mitchell saw a chance to deflect away from the scandal swirling around the prominent Democratic Party donor to instead attack conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

On Friday, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell and veteran CBS journalist Bob Schieffer feared Donald Trump was trying to undermine American democracy by “demonizing the mainstream media.” Appearing on the show to hawk his new book, Overload, about “the changing landscape of the media,” Schieffer warned against the President’s supposed “dangerous” effort to “undermine the press.” 

A number of establishment, liberal journalists responded with smugness on Thursday’s Hardball to President Trump’s tweet earlier in the day that the Senate Intelligence Committee should investigate news organizations for spreading “Fake News.” As expected, they touted their supposedly strict standards and brushed aside claims of media bias as being aimed at undermining the Russia investigations.

On Thursday, NBC’s Today seemed to delight in causing “turmoil” within the Trump administration after reporting on anonymous gossip about Secretary of State Rex Tillerson allegedly calling the President a “moron.” Co-host Savannah Guthrie opened the show by hyping: “Secretary of State Rex Tillerson takes on an NBC News report that he referred to the President as a moron. But, doesn’t deny it....…

With President Trump set to address the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, NBC Nightly News spent a portion of Monday night’s broadcast slamming Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and spreading rumors of his removal. Leading off a fawning panel discussion on Tuesday about Hillary Clinton’s new memoir rehashing the 2016 campaign, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell promised viewers a “big scoop” as she promoted the failed Democratic nominee’s “latest admission to Susan Page of USA Today that she is convinced associates of Donald Trump’s campaign helped Russia meddle in the election.”

After MSNBC spent the weekend exploiting Hurricane Irma’s devastation of Florida to push the climate change agenda, on Monday, anchor Andrea Mitchell turned to Daily Beast Politics Editor Sam Stein and worried: “...climate change. It is something – Sam, you’ve been writing about this – something that has not been raised in much of the coverage.”
