On Tuesday, which saw the official kick-off of the 118th Congress, NBC Nightly News dedicated their last segment usually reserved for superficial human interest stories to fawn, gush and drool over now-former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and what Capitol Hill correspondent Ali Vitali described as being "famous for her toughness and deep understanding of her caucus." 

From Nancy Pelosi herself to her white suit to her relationship with former President Trump, MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell and her Thursday guests could not stop gushing over Pelosi before and after her speech announcing she step down from House Democratic leadership in the next Congress.

If you watched either the Saturday edition of Today on NBC or ABC’s Good Morning America, you would have come away with the impression that Democrats would spend the voting to improve health care and the environment and reduce inflation and the deficit while Republicans try to stop them. Neither network provided any reason why someone might chose to oppose the bill.

On Tuesday night, after a week of arguing between Senate Republicans and Democrats over legislation which would help veterans who have been made sick by burn pits, both CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News omitted the reason why Republicans opposed the legislation. Hint: it’s not because they hate veterans. 

On Thursday’s Chris Jansing Reports, the eponymous MSNBC host wondered if pro-life laws will have “a chilling effect on rape victims” and her guests readily informed her that they will.

On Sunday’s Meet the Press, anchor Chuck Todd did his latest installment of “poor Joe Biden” where Todd whines about how poorly or unfairly Biden is being treated by the American people or the media. This time however, Todd believes Biden is being abused by his own party. 

As pro-abortion radicals rioted and attacked pro-lifers in the wake of the Supreme Court overturning Roe vs. Wade, the network newscasts mostly looked the other way. They offered scant coverage and repeatedly insisted that the last several days have been “mostly” or “largely” peaceful. 

Talk about detached from reality. Would you describe the January 6 Committee as “truly bipartisan”? If you would, you can host a show on MSNBC. MSNBC's Joy Reid did her part on Wednesday night’s ReidOut, chortling about the fairness and nonpartisanship of the blatantly partisan committee.

When someone who supports abortion suggests that if Republicans are going to ban abortion, it is only fair to regulate sperm, the only appropriate response is to mock such an absurd comparison.
