Filling in on Monday’s Last Word, MSNBC host and Canadian immigrant Ali Velshi lobbied viewers to watch the new far-left Netflix documentary, Immigration Nation, in an effort to slam President Trump and his "racist and inhumane immigration agenda."

While guest hosting The Last Word on Friday, MSNBC's Ali Velshi offered up a passionate, if not deranged opening monologue where he asked viewers if they knew they still lived in America and declared the First Amendment dead.

Instead of criticizing the radical left’s riots across the country, MSNBC put the blame on conservatives and President Trump. Radical host Ali Velshi, pushed the left’s Marxist agenda while filling in for Chris Hayes on Wednesday’s All In.
 

On his MSNBC show, Ali Velshi referred to people attending President Trump's Tulsa rally as "super-spreaders." But shortly thereafter, Princeton professor Imani Perry hailed the "extraordinary courage" of protesters who throng the streets despite the virus. 

Appearing as a guest on Saturday's Velshi show on MSNBC, contributor Eddie Glaude accused President Donald Trump of planning to put on a "white political theater" that "plays fast and loose" with the deaths of blacks as he complained about the upcoming rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma -- a city known for a horrific massacre against black residents in 1921.

When guest hosting The Last Word on Friday, MSNBC's Ali Velshi declared that given the protests and reaction to the death of George Floyd, Joe Biden has been prophetic in his calls for the country to move past President Trump's racial divisiveness. Similarly, Jonathan Alter was amazed at Biden's "perfect message for 2020."

Appearing as a guest on Sunday's AM Joy, MSNBC weekend host Ali Velshi again rationalized the actions of rioters as he got up on a soap box and preached about "institutional, socioeconomic injustice and racism" against the black population being the motivation for riots in Minneapolis and other cities. His commentary elicited an "amen" from liberal host MSNBC host Joy Behar.

From the start, TV news media have done their darnedest to paint the riots happening across the country in a positive light. While many journalists have glossed over the widespread violence by relying on misleading characterizations like “mostly peaceful,” others have outright defended and justified the rioting.
