Talking heads on liberal cable news are finally warming to calling the situation on the U.S.-Mexico border a crisis, at least since former Obama DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson blessed that term on the March 29 edition of MSNBC’s Morning Joe.  But some of us are old enough to remember a time – barely two months ago – when cable hosts were screaming to high heaven that there was no such border crisis. 

On Sunday, two MSNBC hosts fretted over U.N. ambassador nominee Kelly Knight Craft's views on global warming as host Alex Witt invited Virginia Democratic Congressman Don Beyer to bash her on the subject, and, later in the day, Kasie D.C. host Kasie Hunt also gave attention to and seemed befuddled by her views.

On Saturday's Weekends with Alex Witt on MSNBC, NBC contributor Kurt Bardella flipped out when he was faced with something rarely seen on MSNBC -- a right-leaning guest who actually made a conservative argument counter to the network's left-leaning guests, as opposed to the typical MSNBC Republicans who often agree with liberals.

Appearing as a guest on Saturday afternoon's MSNBC Live with Alex Witt, race-obsessed MSNBC AM Joy host Joy Reid proclaimed that Republicans are the ones running a "racial panic election" as she and host Witt discussed the Georgia gubernatorial election has been marred by Democrats making false accusations of Republicans using "voter suppression" tactics to prevent minorities from voting.

On Sunday's MSNBC Live, longtime journalist and liberal MSNBC contributor Jonathan Alter proclaimed that "you can kiss democracy goodbye" if Republicans retain control of the House of Representatives as he also complained that the press are not being tough enough on President Donald Trump as he has given the media more access before the midterm elections.

On Friday night and on Saturday, several MSNBC shows threw around charges of racism by Georgia Republicans as the liberal news network continued hyping the story of 53,000 new voter registrations being held in a "pending" status until those voters verify their information.

On Sunday afternoon, as Doris Kearns Goodwin appeared on both CNN and MSNBC to promote her new book, the longtime NBC presidential historian fretted that after Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation, the U.S. Supreme Court will go to the right on abortion, voting rights, and other issues, and on CNN called the possibilities "worrisome."

Over the weekend, MSNBC repeatedly failed to condemn the removal of Sarah Huckabee Sanders from a Virginia restaurant because of her political affiliation. The story received only minutes of coverage, often being squeezed into the last moments of a program in favor of wall-to-wall coverage of the immigration crisis, but the tacit approval of the removal was remarkable.   

Over several days since Thursday, the same MSNBC that ignored reports of some Democratic members of Congress having ties to Nation of Islam leader, Louis Farrakhan, have been working in overdrive to highlight a handful of white supremacist political candidates who are running for office as Republicans but most likely will never be elected.

On Saturday's MSNBC Live with Alex Witt, during a discussion of President Donald Trump accusing the FBI of spying on his campaign and demanding an investigation, MSNBC contributor and Daily Beast columnist Jonathan Alter went into hyperbole as he charged that "banana Republican" Trump is engaging in "autocratic behavior like we've never seen in American history."

Many in the liberal media have blamed the recently alleged chemical attack in Syria on President Trump, citing his vow to pull American troops out of the region as having “emboldened” Syrian President Bashar-al Assad.
