Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter have recently announced their first annual upcoming LGBTQ+ convention. Dubbed the “Pride Summit,” the event is purported to be a massive get together of industry execs and their media friends to shove more “LGBTQ visibility” into every minute of Americans' screen watching, music-listening time.

On July 23, New York Magazine published perhaps the most egregious case of liberal insanity you will ever find in printed text -- a story you have to read to believe. The 7,000-word true story was written by journalist Kera Bolonik, and it encapsulates the mangled family lives and harrowing decadence that is characteristic of our country’s most elite institutions. 

British comedian Ricky Gervais has been called “transphobic” over defending women refusing to wax transwomen in Canada because they are uncomfortable dealing with their clients’ very male genitalia. Gervais defended the spa workers saying that it’s “real feminism” for women to choose who to wax or not, but internet users aren’t having it.

The July 2 episode of Freeform’s Good Trouble, titled “Doble Quince,” was written around the quinceañera Jazmin Martinez (Hallie Sahar)  never had. Not to put too fine of a point on it but the reason the transgender woman didn’t have a quinceañera is because at the age of 15 years old, when the coming-of-age celebrations traditionally happen in the Latino community, “she” was a he.
