On Friday's MSNBC Live, as host Ali Velshi brought aboard Black Lives Matter leader Deray McKesson to discuss the controversial Nike ad featuring Colin Kaepernick, the MSNBC host actually hit his liberal guest from the left as he wondered if Nike was really doing enough to promote Kaepernick's political agenda.

Fans of Chelsea Handler and Michelle Wolf should rejoice. While Netflix had the good sense to cancel those shows, Hulu’s I Love You, America with Sarah Silverman has somehow returned despite a horrible, terrible, no-good, very bad first season. For a show that claims to “love” America, it sure hates a good part of it.

Early Friday, NewsBusters reported that CNN spent only one minute of airtime on the recanting of a former Ohio State University wrestler’s allegations against Ohio Republican Congressman Jim Jordan. After reviewing coverage of the original NBC article which leveled the claims against Jordan, NewsBusters found that there was a massive discrepancy in reporting.

Tara Sullivan's Boston Globe story on the state of the NFL in July 2018 is a misery index, a litany of missteps by a league that can't get out of its own way. Conservatives and progressives can agree on several items on Sullivan's list, but other entries demonstrate the media bias one would expect from the intersection of progressive bias and the Globe.
