Last month, normally progressive PBS provided a transparent portrayal of the devastation abortion inflicts on the African American community. The special, titled “Anti-Abortion Crusaders: Inside the African American Abortion Battle,” surprised conservative media critics by giving voice to the message that “the most dangerous place for an African American child is in the womb.”

CBS’s Young Sheldon is no stranger to mocking religion. That the January 3 episode, “A Race of Superhumans and a Letter to Alf” went after religion was nothing new. What was, however, was that the mockery came not from Sheldon (Iain Armitage), but from his dimwitted older brother, Georgie Cooper (Montana Jordan), for his own personal sexual gain.

On CNN, New Day co-host Alisyn Camerota notes that the composition of the newly-installed House of Representatives includes a record 102 women. But she adds: "if it really reflected the United States, it would be twice that many. Not to be a wet blanket this morning, okay? But, baby steps."
