The left sure isn’t letting the Parkland shooting crisis go to waste. They’ve pulled out all the stops: shell-shocked kids libeling politicians and gun owners, flailing commercial boycotts, and playing good cop-bad cop with the Second Amendment. (“I don’t know how long I can restrain him. Just give me expanded background checks and age restrictions, and I might be able to calm him down.”)

HBO's new drama Here and Now has basically become a parody of the left. It's full of trendy social justice themes, buzzwords, and Chicken Little-style angst that the sky is most certainly falling. The show could use the exact same storylines, even the same script, and come up with a hilarious satire about self-important liberals in the Pacific Northwest.

You've heard of push polling in which pollsters steer people to a desired opinion by asking loaded questions. The Ringer blog's Larry Wilmore has perfected the "push interview," and with Katie Couric as his guest this week, his attempts to push a fellow liberal to support for LeBron James and gun control and hanging a racist label on Laura Ingraham amounted to a cakewalk.

Actor and activist Jesse Williams appeared briefly on The View, February 23, where he compared the media’s coverage of the Parkland shooter to the Black Lives Matter movement. The liberal Grey’s Anatomy star claimed that the media always spun shootings in favor of the white “oppressor class” while it demonized black kids shot by police.

Meghan McCain was the only one to hold ESPN’s Jemele Hill accountable for the incendiary comments she made about President Trump last September, on the View’s February 21 show.
