New York Times Sheryl Gay Stolberg argued in a “news analysis” that “G.O.P. Folds Up the Big Tent and Unfurls Its Banner as the Party of Trump.” The online headline: “Two Years and Hundreds of Inflammatory Ads Later, the G.O.P. Is the Party of Trump.” Stolberg predictably found racist appeals from Republican presidential candidates going back to Ronald Reagan.

On Monday afternoon, the day before Election Day, MSNBC was still running with already discredited charges of "voter suppression" by Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp as the Republican runs for governor of the state. MSNBC host Ali Velshi claimed that "actual voter suppression" is an "urgent problem" in this year's election.

Newsweek's Dan Cancian is outraged that Oakland Raiders' radio voice Brent Musburger "mocked" Sen. Elizabeth Warren in a recent tweet related to the controversy about whether or not she is a descendant of Native Americans. He's not alone; NFL writer Mike Freeman called it "disgusting bigotry" and Yahoo's Jason Owens labels it "ugly politics."
