For the second day in a row, MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell decided that her narrative about Texas’s pro-life law is more important than what the law actually says. During a Wednesday interview with Sen. Dick Durbin, Mitchell alleged a woman was denied emergency care because the state is leading the fight against women’s health.

Over the weekend, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis gave a speech decrying the “woke mind virus,” but according to NBC Late Night host Seth Meyers’s Monday “Closer Look,” it is people like DeSantis who have a mind virus, because all they care about is “a collection of petty grievances” while he wants to teach accurate history and “provide gender-affirming care to children.”

It is an amazing thing to watch. The Associated Press denigrated CPAC as a "diminished gathering of conservatives." But the real story is the media's diminished gathering of public support.
