The Mehdi Hasan Show on MSNBC is where all critical thinking and common sense goes to die as evidenced by a Sunday segment where Hasan accused Israel of shifting the goalposts on its narrative of where Hamas’s HQ is because he refused to entertain the simple idea that Hamas’s leadership could’ve fled south in the early days of the fighting.

On the Saturday edition of NBC’s Today reporter Erin McLaughlin ran down the list of evidence Israel has provided that Hamas has used the Al-Shifa Hospital for military purposes only to dismisses it as “nothing definitive.” Meanwhile, on CBS Saturday Morning, Imtiaz Tyab did the same thing, labeling the provided as evidence as “frankly underwhelming.”

New York Times columnist and PBS NewsHour Friday weekly news recapper David Brooks claimed he isn't sure progressives know what they are talking about when they chant “from the river to the sea.” Whether Brooks actually has no idea or is playing dumb doesn’t really matter, PBS viewers deserve a better conservative perspective.

PBS NewsHour anchor Amna Nawaz joined the Friday edition of Jose Diaz-Balart Reports on MSNBC where she misrepresented PBS’s own polling data in order to portray Israel’s war against Hamas as much more polarizing than it actually is.

The death of Paul Kessler, killed for holding a pro-Israel sign on a Los Angeles street corner, has been the subject of sparse, weirdly omissive media coverage, of which we’ve taken note here at the MRC. The announcement of an arrest in the matter is no exception, as it drew sparse coverage on one major network newscast and none at all on the others.

On Wednesday, the globally influential BBC was forced to apologize yet again for an anti-Israel smear from one of its anchors. This time, the BBC accused Israel of intentionally targeting Al-Shifa Hospital staff and Arab speakers during its operations in Gaza, which was exactly the opposite of what the cited Reuters report said.

Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz joined the Wednesday edition of CNN News Central and condemned the network for repeating Hamas propaganda on the Al-Shifa Hospital when it cited Hamas saying there is no command center at the facility.

The Big Three news networks (ABC, NBC and CBS) have turned a blind eye to leftist groups funneling millions of dollars to anti-Israel advocacy groups.

For Sunday’s edition of Last Week Tonight, HBO’s John Oliver attempted to give what he would consider a nuanced take on the Israel-Hamas War and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict more generally. However, it was hard to take such nuance seriously when he accused the United States of being “heavily implicated” in non-existent Israeli war crimes.

Once again, CBS foreign correspondent Debora Patta has distinguished herself for her open pro-Hamas biases and contempt for Israel while reporting on the unfolding conflict in Gaza. 

As the Biden Administration starts to go wobbly on the Israel-Hamas War with its efforts to turn four-hour temporary pauses to multiday pauses, New York Times columnist and PBS NewsHour’s supposedly conservative Friday pundit praised Biden, saying “he’s done quite well.” At the same time, Brooks mourned people don’t differentiate between the types of terrorism Hamas and Fatah…
