After President Trump took time during Thursday’s coronavirus press conference to criticize the blatantly biased media coverage of his administration’s response to the global pandemic, Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd anchored an NBC News special report and decried how “the President’s own personal grievances seemed to dominate” the briefing.

On Tuesday, ABC’s White House correspondent Jon Karl attempted to scold President Trump for having “lashed out” at Democrats who were politicizing coronavirus. Trump shut down the line of questioning by pointing out he has to “respond” since liberal politicians “have the media on their side.”

On Joy Reid's MSNBC show, leftist guest Eric Boehlert called Fox News a "cancer on this country" that has been "getting people killed for years." Reid quoted to Boehlert from a Washington Post column that suggested that Rupert Murdoch should force Fox News to "tell the truth" about coronavirus, and also use his influence with President Trump on the matter.

On Friday, MSNBC was eager to exploit the coronavirus to bash cable competitor Fox News, accusing the rival network of spreading “misinformation” about the disease and even endangering the lives of its viewers. The discussion took place on the same show that labeled the virus President Trump’s “Chernobyl” on Thursday.

The liberal Hispanic media´s penchant for headlining anonymous, secondhand news to intimidate viewers through trepidation, is alive and well at Univision. Case in point: a report quoting a dubious New York Times article about Operation Palladium, the joint effort between ICE and the Department of Homeland Security, aimed at monitoring undocumented immigrants in sanctuary cities. 

On the front of Monday’s New York Times, Peter Baker savored how the coronavirus had become a political headache for President Trump: “Twitter Pulpit Is No Match For Viral Foe.” Baker raises some defensible criticisms of some of Trump’s statements (while only briefly noting vital steps the President took over indignant liberal opposition). New York Times columnist Paul Krugman, respected economist turned classless Democratic hack, demonstrated his unseemly willingness to politicize crises, in his Tuesday column “Paranoid Politics Goes Viral.” The text box: “When everything is a liberal media conspiracy.” From there he went after “right-wing” media and politicians and spread the lie that Trump called coronavirus a hoax. A recent sympathetic article on abortion in Bloomberg Businessweek offered a textbook lesson in liberal media bias. Written by Cynthia Koons and Rebecca Greenfield, the February 27 article’s headline whined that “Abortion Clinics Are Getting Nickel-and-Dimed Out of Business.” 

On both the Today show and her own 9:00 a.m. ET hour MSNBC show on Monday, NBC News senior business correspondent Stephanie Ruhle keep pushing the now-debunked claim that President Trump labeled the coronavirus a “hoax.” In reality, what Trump dismissed as a hoax were efforts by Democrats and liberal media to politicize the global health crisis.

Leading off a discussion on media coverage of the coronavirus, on Friday, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle quickly went to work attacking Fox News. Why? Because the competing cable channel was calling out attempts in the press to blame the Trump administration for the spread of the disease.

At a forum in California recently aired by C-SPAN, two news media veterans admitted – what all too many of their colleagues still deny – that liberal bias and overt hostility to Donald Trump is hurting the country and threatening to destroy the relevance of journalism. 

Though The New York Times is undeniably liberal in its reporting, it has been distinctly cool in coverage of the most left-wing Democratic candidate, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
