WASHINGTON — Did you see the interview over the weekend of a listless and, apparently, exhausted Hillary Clinton? Supposedly she has recovered from last week's bout with pneumonia, but she could have fooled me. Call me a hypochondriac, but in my opinion her recovery is not going very well.  

ABC premiered their new comedy, Speechless, on Wednesday night, which tells the tale of an overly-eccentric mother of a child with cerebral palsy. The mom’s (Minnie Driver) obsession with finding the right school for her disabled child takes her to one particular school that once had a Viking as their mascot. I say “had,” because they exchanged the Viking for something a little less offensive. 

As Charlotte, North Carolina was being torn apart on Wednesday night, cable networks CNN, the Fox News Channel (FNC), and MSNBC offered wall-to-wall coverage of the carnage and tense scenes that, during the 9:00 p.m. Eastern hour, resulted in the one civilian being shot by another civilian and injuries to roughly a dozen police officers but MSNBC saw no reason in that hour to inform their viewers…

The roundtable on MSNBC’s Hardball early Wednesday evening dismissed and ridiculed the findings of the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finding that only Russian President Vladimir Putin is more disliked among Americans among U.S. politicians, selected global leaders, and major U.S. institutions.

During her softball interview with Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine on Monday, self-avowed Hillary Clinton supporter Ellen DeGeneres bemoaned a supposed double standard against the former Secretary of State: “So Hillary is, it seems – and I've said this before – that she is held to a different standard than Donald Trump is. Would you agree with that?”

Two weeks ago, National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell said, as the Associated Press paraphrased it, that he "disagrees with Colin Kaepernick’s choice to kneel during the national anthem, but recognizes the quarterback’s right to protest." In the midst of a heated but civil debate on CNN Tuesday night, host Erin Burnett admitted on her eponymous show to Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway that her program should not have aired a chyron on Monday’s show suggesting that Donald Trump was in favor of “racial” profiling. Burnett was twice pressed by Conway on why her show made such an editorial error and so Burnett paused the debate…

In a predictably softball interview with Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine set to air on Wednesday, talk show host and Hillary Clinton superfan Ellen DeGeneres began the friendly chat by gushing: “Well, first of all, thank you for everything you have been doing for a long, long time.”

This year's college news is about black student demands for segregated campus housing and other racially segregated campus spaces and programs.
