During Wednesday’s special coverage of the memorial service for the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, so-called journalists on NBC and ABC were in mourning over the inability of Democrats to block any nominee President Trump put forward to fill the vacancy on the high court. The networks were clearly upset that their party was “powerless to stop this.”

As Judge Amy Coney Barrett is rumored to be one of President Trump’s likely nominees to replace recently departed Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the liberal media are in overdrive trying to tear her down and ruin her path to the nomination.

With the upcoming Supreme Court confirmation battle, MSNBC Live host Stephanie Ruhle naturally invited on Senator Maize Hirono (D-HI) during Tuesday's show to discuss just what Democrats can do to try to stop Republicans from confirming whomever President Trump nominates. For Hirono, the answer was simple: go on friendly cable shows and make the case to the public.
