The same day the Trump administration was able to secure the release of three American hostages from North Korea in the run-up to the historic summit, CBS foreign correspondent Elizabeth Palmer was in the capital of Iran claiming the people felt like hostages of the same Trump administration. At the same time, she failed to mention Iran was actually holding several Americans captive.

On Wednesday's MSNBC Live with Stephanie Ruhle, liberal contributor Eddie Glaude complained that Americans are "okay with people dying" as the group discussed President Donald Trump decision to withdraw from the nuclear deal with Iran.

Just CNN and the major broadcast networks earlier Tuesday after President Trump’s Iran Deal speech, MSNBC’s Hardball was beside itself over the President’s decision to withdrawal the U.S. from the deal, dubbing it a victory for “chick hawks” like John Bolton drawing America into war with Iran while also “surrender[ing] the moral high ground to Iran.”

Former Democratic secretary of state John Kerry has been doing a little free-lance meddling with Iranian ministers on behalf of the now-kaput Iran deal, and an unhappy Trump accused Kerry on Twitter of “possible illegal Shadow Diplomacy” (i.e. violating the Logan Act).
