Robert Redford is a world class actor, a movie star of the first order and an indie film inspiration. Redford’s Sundance Film Festival helped fuel the rise of auteurs like Steven Soderbergh, Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. Redford, like Greta Thunberg, is not a climate scientist, though.

Reporters have spent days detailing why Terminator: Dark Fate became the year’s most embarrassing flop. The movie made just $29 million stateside, and its foreign box office totals are equally weak ($94 million and counting). That’s no way for a franchise reboot to perform. Most observers are writing the saga’s obituary.

On Tuesday's PBS NewsHour, the show gave a forum to former Barack Obama administration official Todd Stern of the Brookings Institution to complain about President Donald Trump's decision to pull out of the Paris Accord on climate change. Stern called the decision "crazy" and suggested the country needs a "new President," all without any balance offered by fill-in host William Brangham.

The annual liberal dissertations on how to talk to conservative family members at Thanksgiving were obnoxious, but this new lefty idea is a real turkey. HuffPost recommends forgoing Thanksgiving all together to save the planet from global warming. Because traveling to gather with family and friends to offer thanks is selfish.

Netflix premiered season 3 of Atypical, a show about a teenager on the autism spectrum, on Friday, November 1. The show has many positive points, particularly the way it highlights how a young man on the spectrum can, in fact, succeed academically and socially. But, like all things Hollywood, this season is marred by some leftist nonsense.
