Folks, you know the drill. With the end of each year, we look back at some of the nuttiest takes from some of the more infamous liberal media types in 2019. As my colleagues have and will continue to do through December 31, this piece will serve as the recap of the year that Chris Matthews had on MSNBC and his show Hardball.

Appearing as a guest on Thursday's Jimmy Kimmel Live, CNN contributor John Kasich showed off his liberal Republican credentials that make him fit in at the Cable News Network as he talked up liberal policy on issues like global warming and gun control.

It looks like livestock production is contributing to climate change, and we need to hit “peak meat” by 2030 to avoid an “ecological disaster.” At least, that’s the idea CBS News is touting from “scientists.”

All three networks spent time Wednesday hyping radical Swedish teen climate change activist Greta Thunberg being honored by Time Magazine today with their “Person of the Year” award. Journalists from ABC, NBC, and CBS all praised the “deserving” “good choice” and touted the teen “taking on” world leaders while “inspiring” other teens to become climate evangelists.
