Is Univision really doing this thing again, where it oversells its relevance to a presidential election? Really, after crashing and burning while doing just that in 2016? Based on Jorge Ramos' latest interview with U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), the answer is a resounding yes.

You can come to expect two things from Univision anchor Jorge Ramos in the immediate aftermath of a mass shooting: an uneven gun-control segment on weekly political talker al Punto, and an even more shrill column across Univision's platforms. We are not spared from these after Las Vegas.

As sure as water is wet and the sun rises in the east, Univision's Jorge Ramos will have a segment on gun control in the immediate aftermath of a mass shooting incident. Per this sad custom, arguments will be laid out based on gross misrepresentations of fact. The most recent edition of the activist-anchor's weekly Al Punto show was no exception.

It is almost as predictable as the rise of the sun in the East. Once again, during national Hispanic Heritage Month, Univision senior news anchor Jorge Ramos has scored yet another article which purports to introduce (or reintroduce) him into the cultural mainstream.

Once again, Univision has shifted into full-activist mode by engaging in an all-platform push in support of the preservation of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (aka, DACA). In so doing, the network continues its practice of operating in a manner more consistent with a special interest lobbying firm than that of a national news media outlet.

Es natural que la cobertura que MRC Latino le brinda al sesgo en los medios hispanos sea proporcional a por ciento de participación en el mercado, y gire -por ende- mayormente alrededor de Univision y Telemundo, Pero como vemos en el segmento a continuación, es el canal Azteca América el más consistente cuando de sesgos desquiciados se trata.

El canal Fusion ha atravesado muchas versiones y cambios de formato a lo largo de su breve existencia como afiliada angloparlante de la cadena Univision. No obstante, la cadena ha sido consistente en un aspecto: su defensa de políticas y causas de extrema izquierda. Su reciente oda a Planned Parenthood no es sino el ejemplo más reciente.
