Calling into CNN’s Inside Politics after news broke Friday afternoon Sean Spicer would resign from the position of White House press secretary, senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta trumpeted the reality that Spicer “was raked over the coals publicly” on Saturday Night Live and in the media (especially by people like Acosta). 

Appearing on MSNBC’s 11 a.m. ET hour on Friday, Republican North Dakota Congressman Kevin Cramer called out the “unhealthy obsession” the media have with accusations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, sending co-hosts Ali Velshi and Stephanie Ruhle into full freak-out mode. The liberal anchors dismissed the notion as “nonsense.”

Simpson in that he wants all government attorneys “to serve as his personal Johnnie Cochrans and Special Counsels named specifically to investigate him.”

In a fawning softball interview with Democratic Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren during Thursday’s 9 a.m. ET hour, MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle was thrilled that the left-wing lawmaker had issued President Trump a failing grade in a partisan “report card” marking his six months in the White House.

On Wednesday's MTP Daily, during a discussion of the Trump administration's Voter Integrity Commission, MSNBC analyst and Daily Beast columnist Jonathan Alter griped that it is actually a "voter suppression commission" which poses a "threat to democracy." He then warned of America becoming a "banana republic" and asserted that the commission is "trying to rig" the election "for the next time."

On Wednesday, President Trump’s bipartisan Commission on Election Integrity, led by Vice President Mike Pence, assembled for the first time. The commission’s responsibility was to investigate possible election fraud and other election related criminal behavior.
