On Monday afternoon, CNN political commentator and liberal Republican Ana Navarro ghoulishly paraphrased a quote by World War II-era pastor Martin Niemöller to equate embattled current and former Justice Department officials to those murdered by Adolf Hitler and the Nazis (aka President Trump) during the Holocaust.

During a testy exchange on CNN’s New Day Monday morning, anchor Chris Cuomo accused White House Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah of “sounding like the Clinton folks” when it came to his criticism of the FBI.  Cuomo apparently forgets that just a year and a half earlier, he himself sounded a lot like the “Clinton folks”, as he repeated the Democratic Presidential candidate’s talking points…

On Monday, all three network morning shows read from the same script as they tried to preempt President Trump’s State of the Union address with dour coverage of “controversies looming” over the speech and the President’s “record-low approval rating.” The broadcasts also touted how “deeply divided” the nation was on the eve of Trump’s remarks.  

Talk about twisting yourself into a pretzel. On Monday morning’s CNN Newsroom, two CNN pundits determined that Hillary Clinton reading Fire and Fury at the Grammy Awards might not have been smart, but the far-left politicization of award shows shouldn’t be condemned and instead taken to heart due to the “damage” President Trump has caused to “the Republican brand.”

On Friday, the CBS Evening News was the only one of the three broadcast network evening newscasts that informed viewers of revelations that Hillary Clinton in 2008 allowed an advisor, Burns Strider, accused of sexual harassment to remain a part of her campaign -- thus demonstrating another example of hypocrisy by the former Democratic candidate.

Following the White House’s newly-released proposal for an immigration deal, on Friday, all three network morning shows dismissed conservative critics of the plan as “hardliners.” Despite also touting harsh rhetoric from Democrats who “blasted the proposal,” the same reporters refused to hurl any similar negative labels at the liberal lawmakers.

In a Politico podcast released on Friday morning, U.S. Ambassador for the United Nations, Nikki Haley, tore into Trump gossip book author Michael Wolff’s “disgusting,” “highly offensive,” and sexist rumor that alleged without evidence that she’s been sleeping with President Trump. Haley deemed Wolff’s behavior to be a “rampant” pattern spreading “lies” “for money and power.”

MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle interviewed Stephen Cloobeck, "a big-time Democratic donor," on Thursday. At one point, she characterized Cloobeck, the former Chairman of Diamond resorts, as "in the middle," i.e., supposedly moderate. He sure didn't come across that way.
