This past week, several MSNBC hosts pushed a sore loser narrative that the Republican House majority was won because of "rigged" congressional districts, with one host even claiming Republicans had been "cheating basically."

One can never expect MSNBC's Joy Reid to be the level-headed voice of reason, but even by her standards, her Wednesday edition of The ReidOut was off the charts crazy. According to Reid, Tennessee’s law, currently being challenged at the Supreme Court, that forbids so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors is part of a Nazi-like tradition of targeting transgender people.

On Monday's Morning Joe, MSNBC co-host Joe Scarborough proclaimed that "the only reason" that Republicans will have a majority in the House of Representatives is because North Carolina Republicans "rigged" the state's congressional districts to take three seats from Democrats. On Sunday's Inside Politics on CNN, host Manu Raju tried to undermine Congresswoman Nancy Mace (R-SC) taking a stand against men using women's restrooms in the Capitol by wrongly claiming that her district has become substantially more Republican, thus suggesting that she has flip-flopped on transgender issues to pander to a more conservative district. 

Some liberals have reacted to Donald Trump’s victory by ensuring that they will not be able to reproduce. While some may find that odd or even humorous, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel had a different take, as he claimed it said something about Trump.

The cast of Friday’s installment of MSNBC’s The ReidOut had a rather odd explanation for how the Republican Party has managed to win over working-class voters: racism towards former President Barack Obama. It’s been many years since the MRC began calling out CBS’s “King of Comedy,” producer Chuck Lorre for his political rants via his sitcoms as well as his vanity cards that display at the end of his shows. And for a while, we’ve enjoyed a nice reprieve after Lorre waved a white flag and began leaving politics out of his attempts to entertain us. (Minus one blip in 2022.)
