August 13th, 2025 11:58 AM

Last night’s edition of CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip, more colloquially known as the “Thunderdome”, opened with a segment on the federalization of Washington D.C.’s Metro Police Department- which is clearly the media’s Current Thing (at least until the Smithsonian cycle kicks off in earnest). Gavin Newsom’s Misguided Redistricting Initiative

August 13th, 2025 11:26 AM

California Gov. Gavin Newsom is upset with Texas. There’s a reason he should be upset. California companies are pulling up in droves and moving to the Lone Star State and elsewhere. But that isn’t what’s bothering him. Newsom cares about politics and power, not markets and business. He’s upset that the Texas state legislature is moving to redistricting that could add up to five Republican…

The PBS News Hour aggressively, almost amusingly avoided the term “illegal” to describe illegal immigrants in Friday’s story on President Trump’s call for a new U.S. Census that would not count illegal immigrants, a move that would change the recorded population of various states and perhaps result in fewer members in the congressional delegation of some states with high illegal-…

August 12th, 2025 5:59 PM

CNN “journalists” have been tying themselves in knots recently as they tried to gaslight Americans with lies about how their Democratic Party supposedly didn’t gerrymander their states. ABC, CBS, and NBC doubled down early Tuesday in their dangerous and irresponsible narrative that crime is not an issue in Washington D.C., following suit from their pathetic coverage on their flagship Monday evening newscasts.
