Conservatives POUNCE on Team Kamala's Trash Talk and Strange Hypocrisy on Debate Dates

Scores of conservatives took to Twitter (or X) Saturday to taunt Kamala Harris after her team claimed Trump was "running scared" from a debate against her on September 10 on ABC. On Friday night, Trump announced on his Truth Social account that he and Fox News agreed to a presidential debate on September 4 in front of a full arena. He said the ABC debate had been "terminated in that Biden will no longer be a participant."

So apparently, Trump is negotiating for new terms....since the Democrats forced out Biden to coronate Harris.

The "Kamala HQ" X account tweeted "our statement" (not Harris in particular?) trash-talking that “Donald Trump is running scared and trying to back out of the debate he already agreed to and running straight to Fox News to bail him out.” This prose was a statement attributed to her aide Michael Tyler in press accounts. “He needs to stop playing games and show up to the debate he already committed to on September 10.”

Stephen "Redsteeze" Miller was one of many prominent accounts to insist if the nominees were honoring their previous commitments, than Vice President Harris should show up to honor her agreement to debate GOP VP nominee J.D. Vance. Initially, CBS News was supposed to host a Veep debate on either July 22 or August 13.

Conservatives made the obvious point that the presidential debate agreement was between Trump and Biden. So it can be considered null and void. Trump agreed to those terms to flush Biden out, which proved Biden did not have the mental capacity to be president any more.

Republicans in general were very tired of the old Commission on Presidential Debates model, where the standard was setting up the GOP with a pro-Democrat moderator to tilt the debating field.

This is why it was hilarious when Democrat Neera Tanden tweeted: "So Trump is too afraid to face Kamala in a neutral setting he previously agreed to. He basically admits that to face her he’ll need to the assist [sic] of two Fox hosts and its whole network. You know what that is? It’s weak."

ABC or CBS is not a "neutral" setting, and it never has been. This is like saying Democrats never "need the assist" of their cluster of supportive media outlets. "Baseball Crank" from National Review jumped on that one, and added that all the pro-Biden terms should be renegotiated:

Leigh Wolf of the Ruthless podcast tweeted: "This is how ridiculous Kamala Harris is…she is insisting that Trump attend a debate that Biden canceled, stating it was already previously agree to, while using the exact opposite argument to cancel her own agreed-to debates with JD Vance, I.e. the candidates have changed so she shouldn’t be held to prior agreements."
