"Public" broadcasting is for liberals. PBS and the Voice of America offered softball questions to Biden on his Pride Month activities at the White House. On Thursday, NewsHour White House reporter Laura Barron Lopez told the president about some family in Texas that was thinking of leaving America because it was so hostile to transgenders. Biden asked for the family's phone number so he could tell them he "has their back." It looked like state-run TV.
On Wednesday, VOA reporter Anita Powell asked press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about how a Pride Night at the White House would sadly “provoke some political or politicized pushback, especially from, you know, some of the states that have passed legislation targeting sexual minorities or from countries that have done the same.”
NPR's All Things Considered helpfully set up House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) to denounce "extreme MAGA Republicans" five times in eight minutes. NPR put together a big investigative project attacking the "far right" on election integrity, and mocked anyone who thought leftist billionaire George Soros was involved. (He was.)
