Former UN Ambassador and South Carolina governor Nikki Haley announced her presidential campaign with a video defending America and attacking the Left. Some think are founding principles are bad, they say the promise of freedom is just made up.” Over images of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and an MSNBC video segment about the "1619 Project," Haley objected to the notion that America hasn't overcome systemic racism at all.
Racial agitators from Whoopi Goldberg to Stephen Colbert mocked her as sleepwalking through history. Assorted CNN and MSNBC pundits brought the boos and the demerits. They said Haley was pitching herself to white voters by telling them what they wanted to hear about racial harmony -- or she was already "falling flat" from trying too hard to please everyone in the Republican electorate.
Then CNN's Don Lemon fell on his sexist face, insisting that Haley couldn't say it was time for a new generation of leaders, because she was allegedly past her "prime." Lemon is 56, and Haley is 51, so that's just embarrassing. It was so lame Lemon felt the need to apologize on Twitter for his "just Google it" routine.
