A new Quinnipiac poll showed Joe Biden's approval rating at a dismal 38 percent. Naturally, the networks responded to this bad news by either ignoring it or mentioning it for ten seconds. CBS and NBC gave it a few seconds on morning shows, while ABC and PBS skipped over it. ABC did find time for a four-minute Good Morning America report on legislation to ban "hair discrimination."
Brief reports didn't make time for other disturbing ratings in the Quinnipiac poll: 50% of Americans do not think the President is “honest,” and 56% said he did not have “good leadership skills.” When it came to “his job as Commander in Chief,” 58% disapproved. On Biden’s handling of the illegal immigration crisis at the U.S. southern border, 67% disapproved.
Overall the polling average at Real Clear Politics now shows Biden with 50.3 percent of voters disapproving.
We also discuss the floundering campaign of former Gov. Terry McAuliffe, seeking to regain his old job. A local reporter in Norfolk drove him up a wall asking him repeatedly to define what "critical race theory" is. He never answered the question.
