The Barack Obama Administration has been on a five-plus-year-long Collect-As-Much-Information-On-Us-As-Possible spree.

These incredible, all-encompassing violations of our Constitutional rights actually drew (shocker) some negative coverage from the usually sycophantic White House Stenographer (Press) Pool.
Of course, mostly when it was the media on whom the President was illegally collecting information.

But the media’s brief dedication to duty has long since waned. All the while, news of Big Government’s usurpation of our data - already huge - waxed considerably.
It would appear the Jurassic Press is just fine with the Leviathan’s tentacles encircling any and everyone - just as long as it isn’t them.

And now the media - in order to defend President Obama - seem more than happy to throw even each other under the bus.
Perhaps most troubling? The president is being aided by a cadre of Benedict Arnolds within the media itself.
One of them is “Meet the Press” host David Gregory, who, after saying journalist Glenn Greenwald “aided and abetted” NSA whistle-blower Edward Snowden, demanded to know of the reporter: “Why shouldn’t you be charged with a crime?”
On the same “Meet the Press” program, NBC’s Chuck Todd didn’t want to know whether the NSA’s surveillance is illegal, but instead demanded to know “how much was (Greenwald) involved in the plot” to expose the NSA’s potential crimes.
They were subsequently followed up by New York Times business reporter Andrew Ross Sorkin, who, after years of writing hagiography that helped Wall Streeters avoid prosecution, called for Greenwald’s arrest.
In the midst of all of this, we had a September 9 D.C. Circuit Court date set for the lawsuit against the Administration’s illegal All-Encompassing-Internet-Power-Grab Network Neutrality - which gives the government access to every website on the planet.
About which we have warned for quite a while.

The media, meanwhile, has all along ignored the sinister aspects of this Obama Web power grab.
Will they now - after all these other data grabs have come to light - report properly on Net Neutrality?
What do you think?
