The partisan hypocrisy of The View's co-hosts apparently knows no bounds. On Wednesday, Joy Behar deemed Brett Kavanaugh “probably guilty” of the sexual assault accusation made by Christine Blasey Ford. If that wasn’t enough, she sneered that the judge must be a “coward” if he doesn’t take a lie detector test.
The View crew discussed the latest revelation that Ford won’t testify before Congress unless the FBI investigates first. Behar seethed, “These people in Congress right now on that Senate Judiciary Committee, these white men, old by the way, are not protecting women.”
She then skipped the "whole innocent until proven guilty" concept and declared, “They are protecting a man who is probably guilty. If you're not, Judge Kavanaugh, take the lie detector test.” Behar spat, “Or are you a coward?”
As I noted on Tuesday, Behar doesn’t actually care about these things. On the January 5, 2016 edition of The View, she was confronted by token conservative Paula Faris with the rape and assault allegations against Bill Clinton. Then-co-host Faris reminded: “Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey. They say that he [Clinton] either exposed himself to them, raped them or groped them.”
Behar openly admitted her double standard: “He is a dog. Let’s face it.” She later declared, “But I still will vote for Bill Clinton because he votes in my favor.”
Apparently, “protecting women” doesn’t include those victimized by liberal Democrats.
In another segment, co-host Sunny Hostin on Wednesday attacked Donald Trump:
When you elect a president whose moral values are in the trash, it takes the moral discussion in our country into the trash. And we can’t even talk about it on national television.
Again, what exactly were the moral values of Bill Clinton?

SUNNY HOSTIN: I was taking it a little bit on the serious end... When you elect a president whose moral values are in the trash, it takes the moral discussion in our country into the trash. And we can’t even talk about it on national television.
JOY BEHAR: No.
WHOOPI GOLDBERG: Well, we could. But we’ve been asked not to.
HOSTIN: And when Obama was president, we were talking about vegetable gardens. We were talking about the fact that he wore a tan suit. That was the biggest scandal. Yet, now we are talking about Super Mario Kart.

BEHAR: This is what I grew up with, that men are supposed to protect you from these predatory males. And they are not doing that! And on the contrary, these people in Congress right now on that Senate judiciary committee, these white men, old by the way, are not protecting women. They are protecting a man who is probably guilty. If you're not, Judge Kavanaugh, take the lie detector test. Prove it the way she did and the way Anita Hill did that they were not lying. Let’s see that from you. Or are you a coward?

BEHAR: I think they are vehemently for overturning Roe v. Wade. They want that. The right wing in this country wants that and they will say, “Well, she says her story. He says his story. Okay, I believe him.” There’s no other evidence! There’s no other evidence. It still becomes he said/she said and they will vote for him.
