The hosts of Fox and Friends on Monday mocked CBS News for skipping the fourth anniversary of ObamaCare. After having conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer on to attack the "insane hybrid" that is the President's health care law, Doocy chided, "We mentioned earlier that yesterday marked the four year anniversary of ObamaCare. You know how many minutes of coverage CBS had yesterday?" [See video below. MP3 audio here.]
He then made a zero sign with his hands and marveled, "Crazy." The lack of CBS coverage includes the March 23 CBS Evening News, Face the Nation and Sunday Morning. In a previous segment, Krauthammer derided, "You can't keep your doctor. You can't get the best hospitals. They have changed the system entirely, using the uninsured as the excuse of doing it."
Regarding the fortunes of Democratic politicians, Krauthammer explained:

STEVE DOOCY: It was four years ago this week that the President made this promise.
BARACK OBAMA: It will take four years to implement fully many of these reforms because we need to implement them responsibly. We need to get this right.
DOOCY: So, fast forward four years. Are we better off now? Charles Krauthammer back to react. Of course, the author of Things That Matter. Ten weeks at number on the New York Times best seller list. Are we better off?
CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: Look, I think there is sort of a general understanding, and particularly among Democrats who have to run for reelection at the end of this year, that this is a disaster. You know, I think a single payer system would at least have been logical and simple and if that's what liberals had wanted, that's probably what they should have gone for. But this sort of insane hybrid which is essentially the federal government taking over and directing and making tens of thousands of pages of regulations for the insurers is a system that doesn't work and everybody can see it.
DOOCY: Well, you know what, Charles? The administration and the people who have sold us this thing, they go, look, five million Americans have signed up for it. What they forget to remind us is that five million Americans or more were canceled. So, you know, it looks as if maybe as many as one million new people signed up, which is a tiny fraction. Was it worth blowing everything up for that tiny fraction of people?
KRAUTHAMMER: That's exactly the point. I mean, if people had said the uninsured you have to look after, let's try to find a way to help them or to get them insurance or to protect them, say with Medicare or whatever, it would have been sort of a targeted effort. But that's not what liberals want to do. They don't want targeted solutions. They want to take stuff over. That's what Obama did. So instead, they revolutionized essentially semi-nationalized one sixth of the economy, intruding into peo
ple who already have health insurance and who were, as you say, promised that it wouldn't be affected.
DOOCY: Sure.
KRAUTHAMMER: You can't keep your doctor. You can't get the best hospitals. They have changed the system entirely, using the uninsured as the excuse of doing it. And that, I think is the fundamental deception underlying it all.
DOOCY: Sure. And we had a segment earlier with Dr. Mark Siegel talking about how a lot of the prominent cancer hospitals don't accept it and so a lot of people are out in the dark. All right. Charles Krauthammer, get his book. It's fantastic. I read it twice.
